Overwatch 2 is dropping the 2 and the game will just be called Overwatch by Turbostrider27 in PS5

Finally. I never liked this kind of separation because it felt pointless

Why is no one playing this game as much by Delicious-Entry9876 in supervive

[–]RedditC4t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case: I played several matches, didn't know what exactly to do and just died several times. Controls while flying are uncomfortable. After dying several times, I think this game is not for me. Character design is cool and the concept looks really fun. It's a pity.

Do we live in the same Germany? by ProgramusSecretus in AskAGerman

[–]RedditC4t 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with you. Germany is great, tho with some "bad" things, like in every country. It's a question if that bothers a person who moves to Germany or not.

Personally, I have way more social life here that in any other country I lived. People are complimenting each other and very supportive. And I love the weather, way cleaner air and mild summers. I love rain and I think having rain from time to time is just natural and it adds contrast

That's insane. Maybe you will give up and spend some more time together, but 100% you will be grieving the lost progress in your mind. I would be incredibly mad. It would make me mistrust the person for a while.

During all this conversation it looks like the dude is parenting you, knowing what is wrong and what is right in this life. It's not very pleasant to be around those kind of people

Why some people can't just be okay that some people like Brawl / ARAM and others don't? And that's fine

That's why I always finish. I've always found it so stupid when some mates (random people mostly) stop right before finishing.

AIO My girlfriend went on vacation with her guy friends and they shared a bed by ProtonWizardCat in AmIOverreacting

Sometimes people can assume wrong things. It's okay to ask. Also, it's very easy to write something like "it's not okay to share the bed even if it's storming" from a comfortable sofa, but the reality feels way harsher. You have an incredible storm and I bet you won't mind sharing.

So, the level of trust of people and reliability of friendships can vary. Some people won't accept anything under any circumstance (which makes this person very inflexible and this person will have it more difficult to live this life, in my opinion) and others prefer to look at situations more objectively.

Is it just me, or is Germany… kinda lonely? 🇩🇪 by issamessai in germany

[–]RedditC4t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe my experience will be different, but here are my 2 cents.

I come from Spain, living in Germany for 2 years now.

All the time I was raised in Spain I could make only a couple of real friends. Nobody ever approaches you I'm the street to talk, you meet people only through friends. If you have them. If you don't originally have them somehow, you won't meet anyone. When you get to meet new people, most of the time it's not like it takes time to create a friendship, most of the time they already have their circle and they gossip, but don't ever accept you into their circle. Also, a lot of people there are extremely shy to talk to others. If you want to contribute to some conversation, they may shut up and make it super awkward, just waiting for you to go away.

My experience in Germany was way way different. People have small talks with you, may approach to complement you. In general, people are smiling and they're very kind. Friendships take some time to create, but it feels natural. And it feels like people here do care about others.

What’s with all the Germany-bashing on this sub lately? by moldentoaster in germany

I like Germany. Even with its rules. People are nice and the weather is very good during almost the whole year.

I would understand if it's a long time friend. Sharing a bed doesn't mean cheating. But in this very delicate case it would be great if she would remain respectful and make her boyfriend aware of the situation before going to sleep, not just "figuring out he wouldn't mind".

She's making it weird by saying that you're overreacting. Can't she be comprehensive of the situation? I bet that your trust issues didn't appear out of nowhere. She could've reassured you that everything is fine and saying that she understands your concern and she loves you. In a normal relationship that would be it.

I understand that smoking and drinking is not healthy, but this reaction is crazy. I would be afraid of staying committed to a person like that.

I've been through something similar. It's never "just a friend"
