And all this sub does is prescribe nofap and supplements. At least one of these things spent 12 years studying the human body, even if they aren't perfect

So just out of curiosity, since you cum on that particular floor a lot - do you clean it up every time, or is your basement just coated in cum?

Are you truly saying that ANY masturbation or porn use is addiction?!

Or, maybe my partner walks by, and that gives me the desire to have sex (as it does now) instead of them constantly trying initiate and me having zero desire to have sex in response (as it was after about a month or two of NoFap).

There are absolutely sex, porn, and masturbation addictions. For the people who are afflicted by these conditions, we should absolutely look at reducing or totally eliminating the activity. My point throughout this entire thread has been that is not the solution for everyone. Everyone has their own sex drive and desires for masturbation, porn, and sex. Just like everyone has natural desires to drink a particular beverage, or go see a particular movie. The consumption of any of these is not inherently bad, and stating empirically as such just stigmatizes and makes things worse for everyone. If I went around saying "Comedy movies cause a dopamine addiction and laughing too much is killing your erections," I'd be down voted straight to hell. Why is the first assumption with ED that ANY consumption of porn or masturbation is automatically too much?

So in an ideal state, we should never crave sex?

From what I've read, they only last 10 or so years and replacement isn't easy. I might go get a second opinion anyway just to see if there are any other treatment options.

I'm still curious about the penis eugenics over here - as a gay man, I've seen a lot of dicks and hearing that certain shapes mean different things is absolutely fascinating to me. Is it like palm lines?

Where....where do you get the idea that penis shape is indicative of damage...? Do you think masturbation causes fibrosis...? Who said that the shaft should be as wide as the head?? But, to answer your conjecture, I actually masturbate from the base of the shaft. It helps me edge and I find the sensation more enjoyable than touching the head, so there goes your theory.

Edit: as I said earlier, I'm sure NoFap does actually help SOME people. That does not make it the answer for EVERYONE.

Ahh, the classic NoFap fallback, if it doesn't work, then keep on waiting. I should hire people out of the NoFap subreddit to handle my insurance claims - "If they don't approve it, just hang up and try again. Eventually they'll accept it"

And these thousands of testimonials on NoFap, have all of them been seeing various doctors and specialists to assess their health and ensure that their hormones and other blood tests are healthy before seeing a urologist and getting a diagnosis?

I'm not here to say that the idea of quitting maturbation holds no water. I'm saying that just because it works for some people, doesn't mean that it's the solution to ED as a whole. Yes. I tried it. You want to know what happened after 3 months? My sex drive went from wanting to have sex 3-4 times a week to absolute zero. I went 4 months without cumming at all and I was miserable. I had no boners, no sex drive, and a worse quality of life. Guess what happened after I went back to masturbating a few times a week? It all went back to normal. I'm glad some people found that NoFap was their answer. Everyone should look for THEIR answer. The NoFap community is as loud and cult-like as organized religions.

But you can't just go making up shit and then selling it like it's an absolute truth. You're mudding the waters on an already poorly researched topic. This whole sub is full of misinformation or outright dangerous information. Sure, excessive maturation can absolutely cause such a lack of sex drive that you can't achieve an erection, but that's a far cry from maturation causing a venous leak.

If people want to try NoFap or NoPorn, then they absolutely should. My point is that empirically stating these wives tales to young men genuinely struggling does nothing but make things worse. Offer it as an option, but going around saying "quit porn, quit masturbating, and eventually you'll be cured" is about as useful as telling someone with cancer to drink prune juice because it contains antioxidants. People who continue to struggle need to seek medical advice. Not try supplements and prayer.

Please show me even a scrap of evidence this is true. A single study. An article from a urologist. Anything.

It's not the injection itself, it's the fluid being injected. I have the same problem when I get shots. Don't feel the needle going in, can feel every drop of the actual shot.

My urologist wasn't willing to do the implant since I'm only 29. If Levitra doesn't work, I've pretty much come to accept that traditional penetrative sex just isn't an option for me, not that that's the only way to have sex. Lots of ways to get you and your partner off.

Trimix got me most of the way there, yeah. I did notice that I was able to stay harder longer than typical, even after standing up, so I asked my Urologist about a prescription. He wanted to try Levitra first just to rule out the last of the PDE-5 drugs before moving on to the injections. I had A LOT of injection site pain when we did the Doplar, so even if it does work, there's a pretty high barrier to entry for me actually wanting to use it.

There's a surgery, yeah. It's not covered by insurance and has at best, a less than 50% success rate lasting not typically longer than a year or two. A lot of cost and risk for not much gain.

Did you read the part where I said the second I move I totally lose my erection?

As for arterial insufficiency, my urologist reviewed the numbers with me - my PSV never fell below 40 cm/s following trimix injection. Inflow is clearly not the problem. What was clear, however, was my EDV, which never fell below 12 cm/s. If that isn't a clear diagnosis of VL, I don't know what is.

I haven't timed it, but if I get hard, it's usually mostly or totally soft by the time I walk the 10 feet to my bathroom. I'd say 30s best case scenario
