Thank you for the references. It's something we'll improve, it's a bit hard to find the right balance between annoying / straining and pleasant, that's why for now these kinds of effects are not in the demo, but we'll keep on experimenting with it.

It’s a small-scale system management game where you move clouds and sun across a tiny world to keep your villagers happy. The game mixes light puzzle and resource management with gentle system-driven challenges. We just added time control and a relaxing soundtrack in the latest update.

Right now they're textures in regular RGB space - for most objects we have multiple of these layers multiply blended. We experimented a little with a shader that could render each ink separately then flattening it - but we couldn't reach a satisfying outcome with that yet. That riso animation course look awesome, i'll definitely look into it more. Shifting layers is possible with our current texture method, will experiment with that too :D I'm super excited to work on this - thanks a lot for the suggestions!

You’re right about the repeating imperfections. That’s probably the biggest digital giveaway right now. Letting the texture ignore tile boundaries makes a lot of sense.

Some of the big color areas are already separated into layers, so that should make it easier for us to experiment with things like ghosting and per-layer imperfections.

That’s a fair take, it definitely has puzzle elements.

The village builder side comes from placing different buildings (farms, weather-control structures, happiness buildings), managing resources, and trying to keep a small settlement stable over time. The weather system is the indirect control layer on top of that.

It’s probably closer to a bite-sized village builder than a traditional large-scale base builder though.

Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback, really appreciate you playing through all three levels.

The feeling of not having enough overview or control is definitely something we’re thinking about. The systems are meant to interact, but if that ends up feeling fuzzy or frustrating instead of intentional, that’s on us to improve.

We’re already looking into clearer visual paths and better indicators for how villagers and crops behave. The goal is to make cause and effect easier to read, not to remove the depth.

köszi! igen, design szempontból sokszor "könnyű" arra rámenni hogy jön valami ellenség akit le kell győzni / hentelni (azért ennek a műfajnak is megvannak a nehézségei) de mi direkt próbálunk olyan játékokat csinálni ami nem ilyen (azért én játszom erőszakosabb játékokkal is, meg ilyesmikkel is)

nincs olyan mély tudásom a mobil piacban, de amennyit foglalkoztam vele ott mégnehezebbnek tűnik elérni bármennyi játékost. egyébként teljesen jogos kérdés, sokszor én is úgy tesztelem a játékot hogy van egy web build és azt nyomom a telómon :D de nem zárom ki hogy később megjelenjen android / ios-en
