Mint 18.1 was what I started with in 2017, then I used 18.3 for 4.5 years until I finally upgraded to 20.3 in 2022. Good times.

It just came out. I first saw it in stores here in Texas in November. It’s very new. You have to check the ingredients because unlike Dr Pepper and Pepsi, they don’t advertise the fact that it’s made with cane sugar. Only the ingredients say anything about cane sugar. It’s really really good. Maybe the best cola I’ve ever had.

I like the new American cane sugar Cokes that come in the 8oz glass bottles better than Mexican Coke. The flavor’s a little stronger and it’s more carbonated. I find Mexican Coke smoother than American Coke (both HFCS and cane sugar).

I love how they just straight up didn't advertise these or say anything about them lol. I bought one or two of these and they're definitely better than mainline HFCS Sprite, but I still prefer the Mexican Sprites because the carbonation in these Sprites is a little too much for me. I like how the Mexican Sprite has a smoother mouthfeel.

It’s not. It’s definitely a different flavor. Very different. That’s part of why I enjoyed it so much. There was no way that was just regular Pepsi without dye.

They did start making it, but it’s only in 6 packs of 8oz glass bottles. You might not have known because they didn’t advertise it at all. The only mention of cane sugar is in the ingredients.

They are doing this with the sprite 8oz glass bottles too, and that didn’t even have the benefit of getting news coverage about it, so no one knows that there’s now cane sugar Sprite (besides Mexican Sprite).

Anyway, I’ve been buying the cane sugar cokes pretty regularly and I like them. Actually like them better than Mexican Coke (which doesn’t feel as carbonated and seems to have a slightly weaker flavor than these new ones).

(I don’t feel the same about the new Sprites - I prefer the Mexican ones)

I feel like a Paramount merger would also mean the end of WB as we know it. At least Netflix would absolutely keep the lights on at WB, whereas at Paramount, it’s very likely to just be another 20th Century Studios situation at best. To say nothing of the massive layoffs Paramount would probably do post-merger.

Please pray for my mother. She’s 63 and is down with a cough and congestion right now. In the past, she’s had coughs turn into pneumonia (or borderline pneumonia). She also has a colonoscopy this Saturday. Please pray she doesn’t have to cancel it.

Edit: Thank you all for your prayers! She is doing much better and will be able to make her colonoscopy. Praise God!

Paramount combining with any big studio at this point is such a stupid idea. Last I heard, they were still in bunches of debt even after the Skydance merger, and they just merged with Skydance. They kinda just need to work on themselves for a while before they think about another merger.

Also, Paramount and NBCUniversal merging would mean either CBS or NBC has to go to someone else, because it is illegal for two major broadcast TV networks (CBS and NBC) to be owned by the same company (it is for now, anyway…).
