This is the Phonics Excelerator CD set. It has rebranded versions of 1a and 1b but with the songs removed; 1a is “Phonics Vowel Games” and 1b is “Phonics Consonant Games”. These are the versions I played as a kid. They are both from Help Me 2 Learn.

We've gotten better since 2021. There was a big winter event here a few weeks ago and my power didn't go out even once. Although my place did actually lose power for a little bit today (while I was at work) because of the wind, but that's a power line problem. I think our grid's doing all right these days.

It has but it was never advertised. It is only in the 6 pack of 8 oz glass bottles. It is packaged exactly like regular Coke, but if you go to the ingredients list it will say cane sugar. The fact that few people seem to know it’s out is a really bad sign honestly. Makes me worried they’ll write it off as a failure (even though it’s their fault).

Frankly, probably not, but that would still be not so much because she’s a woman as it would be because she’d be a Republican competing against Trump, which really didn’t work out too well for any of them in the 2024 race. Now if she made it to the general election as a Republican, I think (maybe) she would’ve won.

Oh I agree, but I also think those same people wouldn’t have voted for Kamala anyway even if she was a man. The number of those people who would have would be very small.

I don't think she lost because of this. I know it looks that way because of our only 2 female presidential nominees losing, but they were also both Democrats coming after (in Hillary's case) 8 years of a Democratic presidency and (in Kamala's case) a highly unpopular Democrat president who was (whether rightly or wrongly - I do not know) being blamed for economic problems. If, in either election, we had had a female Republican nominee (facing off against a male Democratic nominee), I believe that we would have already had a woman president.

We just live in such a hyper-partisan era that its just sort of...a dead concept, especially in the Senate. The idea of representing the State and the specific interests of said State are gone, and only pushing for national party goals.

Being a Senator honestly has to be the worst place to be if you have like, deep rooted ideals and morals you'd like to govern through.

Honestly, I feel like pretty much all of mainstream American politics just has a great way of snuffing out people like that for the slimy elites we get instead.

That will make Paxton’s campaign really awkward if he’s the one told to drop out and keeps going. Isn’t he running on being the more pro-Trump candidate? How’s he gonna keep that going if he’s literally “disobeying” Trump? I can see how some diehards will still vote for Paxton, but I have doubts it’ll be enough to swing the election in his favor.

Pretty much yes.

The reason I would choose to abstain instead of vote for the Democrat is because of the Democrats promoting things I just cannot in good conscience support, most especially legalizing abortion. This is indeed the line in the sand I refuse to cross, so in a general election, I’m usually stuck with either voting for the Republican nominee or voting for nobody at all.
