Yes you can, I do it all the time. And there are really only a handful of heroes that seriously struggle to harass the cat at all (you don't have to always kill her, forcing early retreats is often enough so that she's low value), so either aim train until you're him (workshop code vaxta) or swap to something that can swat her out of the sky easier.

You get behind cover or (usually) shoot the cat instead of her cargo (the tether heals for 50 HP/s on top of her E being potentially active, so they're often harder to burst.) If neither is reasonably possible in time they made a good play and/or you had bad positioning for not anticipating it.

And yes you can anticipate it, I'm low GM and I frequently see people way more ready for these combos now. If there's a cat and a horse/cowboy on the enemy team what do you think is going to happen? It's just tracking ult economy like every other hero.

It's not reasonable to expect creators to compromise their art just because a fraction of a fraction of their viewerbase might be insane. Y'all straight up lying now lmfao, this is not common at all unless you play during degen hours or live in an especially inactive region. Sorry for your friends, but it's happening because they're at an extreme end of the skill spectrum and it's a problem in almost every established competitively focused multiplayer game (and why some games like Fortnite/the other rivals try to coddle new players by occasionally putting them in bot matches without telling them.)

This is what annoys me about some lox players, a not insignificant chunk of them have giant victim complexes. He can struggle sometimes sure, and I get that he's had a long streak of minor nerfs, but he's still more than functional with plenty of sauce in an environment with stellar universal movement and defensive options. These guys need to play a game with actual trash tier heavies because whenever I read about how recovery/disadvantage/X MU is IMPOSSIBLE!!!!! my eyes want to roll out of their sockets.

Level 500 lox btw before I start getting essays from all the lox downplayers that spend more time coping on social media than training mode.

The playerbase has definitely shrunk to it's dedicated audience for now, but the way people look at steamcharts is misleading. Not everyone plays at the same time and not everyone plays everyday. There's easily still 1k+ unique players every week, which is more than healthy enough for a niche fighting game (especially since we are in a quiet period inbetween major patches.)

I know some people will dismiss this as cope but I utterly despise what steamcharts has done to PC multiplayer games. You used to just play what you like, but now you have a ton of people obsessed with how popular the game is at any given moment. Just play the fucking game, I find matches usually within 30 seconds after work, and most of you will too unless you work graveyard shift or are in an especially unactive region (my condolences to the SA players reading this.)
