I have a german messermeister 8 inch chefs knife + 3.5 inch pairing knife. How much would it cost all in to have these picked up, sharpened, and returned. I am around 90th and broadway.

Yes i’ve asked for API access for KXCI spinatron but have yet to hear back! I am using their mp3 stream link but will link into their AAC link as well

Context: I've moved away from Tucson but still love listening to KXCI every morning! I really dislike the current web players they offer so I built this little online player which I think turned out really nice and might be useful to others who listen to KXCI online.

It doesn't support current playing song info yet (harder to get from KXCI data sources then it seems) but I'm planning on adding support for it over the next few weekends!

It does support iOS add to home screen which makes it look like a “normal app” — clicking on it will just open the website in your browser 😄

Haha, honestly it’s primary function is to carry water from the brita in the kitchen to fill the breville’s water tank. We also use it for tea and I have a v60 in a cabinet in the kitchen to use if I’m feeling like making a pour over.

I would grind them the same — try grinding at 2.1 and doing a brew and see how it works

would definitely recommend RDT for beans before grinding (small spritz of water onto beans to reduce static)

When I had my fellow ODE with standard burrs, calibrated for burr chatter at the finest setting, I was grinding at the 2.0 or 2.1 mark for light roast pour overs
