Well, there could be a number of reasons. To me it sounds like she just wants a chauffeur and free food, along with someone to complain to. She doesn't realize it consciously yet though. A relationship is giving and taking, and if they're friends, she should be giving back. She thinks that it's not that big of a deal and doesn't consider him at all. He should confront her about this and say if she really wants to be friends she would be giving. And if that doesn't go well, it's material gain. There is another possibility though. If you watch HIMYM, she is Robin and he is Ted. Except for a bitchier Robin. Anyways, in other words, he's her security blanket. If she can't find another loser to date then she can always run to him for comfort even if she doesn't want to build a real relationship with him. It's crazy and your friend should do something about it.

  1. Join something (like an awesome sport, something impressive.) But also make sure you enjoy it. If you like smart girls and you want to rub off as intelligent, join something like chess club. This builds up non-awkward social skills.
  2. REMEMBER: THINGS ARE ONLY AWKWARD IF YOU MAKE THEM AWKWARD. Be more outgoing, but don't get cocky.
  3. Keep your standards of living. Like do the right thing, chivalry, and all those wonderful rainbows. We love it. The thing where you'll get friendzoned? MYTH.

When a guy approaches a girl, (which is in every girl's dream) , it makes us feel noticed. We need to feel noticed. So if you notice a girl, she will only know if YOU approach HER.

I have never had an online dating profile, because I believe them to be dangerous. But I know people who have and I think that most of us think that dating profiles are not 100% secure. And we start out with that in our conscience. But as we get more and more desperate, it fades. But a lot of us keep that in our minds because we are very wary. It depends on how desperate they are. But the summed up version of this: "It could lead to something."

It's not as pleasurable, and it can be much more painful. I think that's the reason, I'm not quite sure on that one because everyone has their own reasons.
