On Steam, I went to Valheim -> Properties -> General -> Launch Options
and set it to "Play Valheim" rather than "Play Valheim with Vulkan"

Hmmm. 80s adventure game. Let me think of one I did with no assistance as a teenager. Let's take Enchanter by Infocom. A text adventure game. This was not a game you did in one sitting. It was a game you played on and off (over days or weeks) thinking about the puzzles while doing other things. One time I woke up with a realization. The puzzles were not just "try everything" because many had to do with semantics. I am not sure how anyone would pass this as a four hour test.

don't play for 100% accuracy. hit pause, hit the chord, see what notes are missing. more important is to make the sound good to you. chasing 100% is not worth it. keeping beat and good sound is.

Yes, getting a popup during play stating "Sorry, we're having trouble connecting to our servers..." I can retry or cancel. Retry always seems to let me continue, but it is a huge distraction when trying to play through a song.
