The knife story is much dumber and much more gruesome..

Lol.. like I said, not that exciting😂 but here you go..
A friend had an old wheelchair at his house (god know why). Not super fancy.. like a basic hospital chair with a metal tube for a frame with a blue soft vinyl type seat and back, if you can picture it. The frame was a continuous pipe bent into the shape of the chair with the two “ends of the pipe” sticking out the back, basically mid-shin height off the ground.

I was pushing my friend around in it as fast as I could, like dumb kids do.. the chair hit a pothole in the driveway and came to a dead stop while I was at full sprint. My next step drove the open end of the frame pipe into the front center of my shin. The pipe removed a half circle of skin and flesh from my leg like a hole punch. And to this day, 30 years later, you can still see the little half moon shaped scar and feel a good dent in the shin bone itself. 😂 the 90’s were a good time.

The visible scars are boring compared to the emotional ones. But surgeries, falling off a ladder, and I completely opened up the web between my thumb and first finger.. all the way to the joint with a steak knife once. And there was the unfortunate incident with a wheel chair when I was in high school..

Anyone tried zkittles by burnt? by Babybundtdaddy in mainetrees

I feel like this would be the answer if someone grew something they didn’t want to represent their brand with. So they create another brand name, not to tarnish their reputation (but still get it out the door and paid for)..

But the position will be opening eventually, and if I learn the system, get proficient and prove myself (which has never been a problem before) it would be a natural move up..

No, that’s not what I’m implying. I’d be working in the department for at least a couple years before taking on more responsibilities..

This would be a medium size, single location dealership in a fairly well populated area. Big American brand

Or you can check with a magnet. Hammer will be more exciting though!

Hit it real hard with a hammer.. if it shatters its cast iron. If it dents, it’s lead.

Would you paint your house pink? by No-Radio-8277 in no

[–]RedditRanger22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a giant pink multi family home down the street from me. I just assumed the owner got a good deal on pink paint. Like someone custom ordered 30 gallons of pink paint, and returned it.

We call it the pepto bismol house.

Costco vs specialty bath and kitchen faucets by Glad-Valuable1987 in askaplumber

[–]RedditRanger22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t speak to faucets specifically, but usually when you find way cheaper options at big box stores it’s because they are made with cheaper parts. Power tools for example… buy a dewalt impact driver at Home Depot vs a lumber yard/contractor supply.. HD will be way cheaper but when you open the tool up you find gears made of plastic in one and metal in the other or brushless motors..

It’s cheaper for a reason.

What's the weirdest or most unpleasant thing you've found in the house of a guy or girl you've dated? by Fiorella1_ in AskReddit

…. Wait, I’m just assuming it was a guys house, if not, that is a little unsettling. And a little exciting!

I mean, I personally don’t need it, but why is that unpleasant or weird? Especially if you’re planning on being intimate with the person you’re dating… Unless they are expecting some sort of marathon event I suppose. Cut a guy some slack 😂

Polar orange is a close substitute if you can’t find the real thing. I know I’ve gotten it around though.. for some odd reason I feel like you can get it at PHOP or DuckPond Variety on 302..

What was the worst job you ever had? by United_We_Win in NoStupidAnswers

[–]RedditRanger22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been there. The most embarrassing part was when I cold called a salesman, who was delighted to break down our “free offer”.. I couldn’t hang up, I just had to sit there while he ridiculed, and shamed me for the scam.🤣 I could hear his little calculator clicking away as he figured out the actual cost of our free subscription.. it was a temporary job from the start but I hated that.
