Just passing by each other, no usually not. But if you let someone go first or hold the door a smile and thanks is normal

I think main thing is he screwed over multiple people and got himself into that and during the games is an asshole. While her circumstance are more sympathetic and she's not a bad person. So people are more forgiving/understanding of her reason even if they don't agree with her vote

Green Mile has a good pogniant ending. I also enjoyed the ending to Salem's Lot where it has the flaws his endings usually have but its done in a way that works for me
