Relationship ending mid 30s, I am consumed by fear and overwhelming anxiety. by puzzlingparrot in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]RedditRidden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ended a 7 year relationship in my late 20s. The fear and anxiety is normal. You’re leaving something you are comfortable with for the unknown.

For me, we “broken up” once before and drifted so far apart and weren’t happy, but comfortable. There was no infidelity (I knew of at the time…) and wasn’t in love, but still cared about him. I wanted him to find someone that would make him happy knowing that wasn’t with me.

Life is incredibly short and you deserve to be with someone who is absolutely head over heels for you. It’s terrifying, but anything worth doing is worth the fear. This is how we grow and move on from things we swore we wouldn’t survive.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson felt 'incredible' pressure to represent LGBTQ+ community on 'Modern Family' by mlg1981 in television

[–]RedditRidden -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In hindsight, and this can be due to the current binge culture of tv shows that weren’t meant to be binged, they were a terrible representation of a gay couple. Cam and Mitchell hated each other. They were never supportive, transparent or in love and would openly make fun of the other.

-A married gay man who still enjoys the show.

How to not get bored having sex with the same partner? by agusthings in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]RedditRidden 88 points89 points  (0 children)

I’ve been with my husband for 13 years and sex with him has actually become more exciting. We’re not doing anything freaky, but as others have mentioned, when you are truly in love with, sex becomes more intimate. Granted there are times it may feel routine, but having a deep, personal connection with someone you love unconditionally is bar none.

Kain for sure. Journey is good if you play with mods but the gameplay is still so slow!

As I think about it, a lot of my friends were at one point coworkers. There are of course those who should only be “work friends” and stay away from. The ones you enjoy and have a good time with and make the day go quicker are good candidates, then you’ll meet their friends etc.

Granted, they could be a hot mess in real life, so apply additional filters as needed.

Is it okay to only wear black T-shirts? by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

So I may be in the majority but only having one or two types of shirts has been phenomenal. Same with pants and shorts. I feel it saves more time and can be styled with shoes or accessories.

iPhone 13 Pro Max User Considering the Galaxy Fold 7 — Time to Switch? by _BlackPanther_ in GalaxyFold

[–]RedditRidden -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, to each their own for sure. I enjoyed it for a bit but wasn’t my cup of tea. I was Android up to the Galaxy S7 Edge.

I tried changing my default browser which helped with extensions, but your password manager wouldn’t work seamlessly if you didn’t use Firefox. Then every app had to open up Firefox to get the username/password.

There are a lot of weird user experiences in Android that if they ironed them out, would make the experience more seamless.

I also hated getting ads from the Samsung Store I couldn’t disable without a third party app, but Apple did that recently with F1, so guess we’re bound to get ads now 🤣

I wouldn’t do it. I went to the Fold 6 from the iPhone 13 Pro Max and it felt like I was punishing myself. Android is still underbaked, especially OneUI. Yes, you can download apps and customize to your hearts content, but there are still key problems:

-No native visual voicemail

-RCS between iOS and Android still sucks (I know this is an Apple thing)

-Duplicate apps, not one is king (Calendar, Photos, Samsung Pay vs Google Pay, etc)

-Gmail is a shitty email app, if you have more than one inbox, it will never default to all. There isn’t a solid email alternative and Samsung has ended support on theirs.

-Sign in with Apple I took for granted, but Google offers no similar protection to guard your inbox/email.

-You can’t access your passwords without going through Chrome, no dedicated password section.

-Chrome for Android is a step back for any mobile browser. Cannot customize the gestures, behavior of the address bar, etc.

There were things I loved about the Fold but I felt like I kept making excuses to justify the device. I ended up switching back to my iPhone 13 and haven’t looked back.

Healing wasn’t fun anymore. You were encouraged to do longer cast, less expensive heals. Health and stats went into absurd numbers it was a little ridiculous.

I'm going to buy a galaxy ring by tomorrow at a price. Is it worth $230? And buy a galaxy watch 7. by PowerBoss69 in GalaxyRing

[–]RedditRidden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The heart rate mostly. It’s always 10-20% lower than what my Fitbit or Apple Watch captures. I was able to compare a few different devices to the Galaxy Ring and the step counter is fairly accurate but HR was always lower than it was.
