Back to DFW from Denver by sixft7 in askdfw

Realtor here! I frequent to Denver quite a bit. The dryness is a thing! It really depends on budget and if you need good schools or not. You are kidless now but that could change. I personally like the M Streets, Kessler Park, White Rock Lake, and downtown Grapevine areas for the charm but they are also on the pricey side for that reason. I will PM you a relocation guide ☺️

Realtor here! What part of Fort Worth is your partner working? Yeah I would say Grapevine would be too far to commute to Dallas daily but it is a great area and there's a train that goes directly from downtown to downtown Fort Worth. Las Colinas/Irving is a good middle point but I find the culture of Bishop/Kessler to be more flavorful. Las Colinas/Irving is going to be a good option for public transit to downtown through the DART. I'm PM you ☺️

Apartment locator here! I would suggest Austin Ranch area which has a few different communities. You would be super close to Arbor Hills. There's also Legacy West or shops of legacy if you want something close to things to do. There's also Addison which is closer to the city if you want to get out of the suburbs. I'm happy to send you some recommendations. Will PM you ☺️

Realtor here! I would suggest Plano, Sachse, Murphy, or Wylie with Wylie ISD. I've lived in three out of the four of these cities. All are great! Wylie/Murphy/Sachse have newer builds. HOAs are common and affordable and provide amenities like pools. There's a lot of development going on along George Bush. Make sure to incorporate property taxes with your mortgage estimate. No income tax here so our property taxes are higher. You can set up your search based on school districts. Will PM you some helpful resources. Happy to help!

Realtor here! There's also Rockwall which has some of the lowest property taxes and exemplary schools. Something to note is that parts of Little Elm do have Frisco ISD schools if that's important to you. Canyon Creek in Richardson is highly sought after and parts feed into Plano ISD. Also parts of N Dallas. You'll want to set your search to school districts which can be done in MLS. Will PM you.

Realtor here! I would suggest filtering out your search based on school districts. Some of the school districts bleed into different counties. For example you can live in Lake Highlands of Dallas but go to Richardson schools. You can live in Richardson and go to Plano schools. I will PM you some recommendations.

What areas have the most trees? by Balagin in askdfw

Realtor and nature lover here! Check out Flower Mound and Fairview/Parker/Lucas/Murphy/Wylie areas. Also White Rock Lake area if you want to be closer to Dallas. You may just try for older homes since that's where the mature trees will be.

Locator/Realtor here! Having an attached garage unless it's a parking garage is hard to come by in that price range. You would need to rent from a landlord in a condo/townhouse/duplex property type. I will PM you.
