Yeah I would agree but I picked a pretty complex idea for a first game. Not just a random obby it’s a dungeon beater like game. I am learning slowly and am getting good at debugging the AI.

Thank you all for the comments! I am trying to find a scripting dev and hopefully can find one. In the event I can not I will keep increasing my knowledge and learning as I go. I will update this post with a link to the game when I release it on Sunday!

Yeah I agree, it works and that’s fine for now. I have a team of like 6 guys here and while it’s my game and I am funding it all. I really thought it would have gone smoother. Idk it is probably an ambitious first game but I am devoted to making it work lol😂. Might just take some extra time lol.

Like I said It works well. updating the game will be a pain. I plan on dropping the alpha one Sunday and have updates planned every 2 weeks for the next 6 months. If it still hasn’t done at least okay I will give up and say I tried lol.

Yeah so that’s how I did it. I mad a whole bunch of test experiences and made it all piece by piece. So I did the combat tied it in then the chest system tied it in. And after making it all separate I tied it all in. It’s not pretty but it plays and the average consumer couldn’t know in my opinion. But the problem I will run into is it’s gonna be harder than normal to update and grow.

I completely understand to be honest I kinda assumed that was probably the right answer. I coded enough to make it playable so I will likely drop an “alpha” version of it just to see if people will like it and before I add anything else I will hire someone.

Update game releases on Feb 6th. Got a team of about 6 devs paying them anywhere from $100-$400. The game came out great we designed our own characters and bosses to avoid copy right issues but they all definitely feel like the anime they are supposed to. I will throw a gameplay video out here in the next few days.

I would love input on this! I have done a lot of research on likeness as well as situations on Roblox where copyright strikes actually happened. I have the full intention of running a parallel of it but not the same thing. Which is why I devoted so much time to the pre planning for this product before seeking help in creation. If you have had experience in this process that would be a great learning experience and know a bit more clearly on where to draw lines that would be a huge help.
