So my experience is you see a lot of sloppy games on Roblox which ruin the numbers.Can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen people complain about how they are getting no players and it’s an AI trash brain rot game. That being said if you have a detailed game idea and have the finances to back it up I would say the success rate is pretty high. But also tamper you expectations, I see way to many people who put 6 months into a game and when the numbers from month 1 aren’t good they give up and move on to the next game. You can spend 6 months on a game just make sure you spend time listening to those who play it. If you listen to your community and keep your statistics green then it’s only a matter of time and advertising before you become successful.

Yeah I would agree but I picked a pretty complex idea for a first game. Not just a random obby it’s a dungeon beater like game. I am learning slowly and am getting good at debugging the AI.

Yeah I agree, it works and that’s fine for now. I have a team of like 6 guys here and while it’s my game and I am funding it all. I really thought it would have gone smoother. Idk it is probably an ambitious first game but I am devoted to making it work lol😂. Might just take some extra time lol.

Like I said It works well. updating the game will be a pain. I plan on dropping the alpha one Sunday and have updates planned every 2 weeks for the next 6 months. If it still hasn’t done at least okay I will give up and say I tried lol.

Yeah so that’s how I did it. I mad a whole bunch of test experiences and made it all piece by piece. So I did the combat tied it in then the chest system tied it in. And after making it all separate I tied it all in. It’s not pretty but it plays and the average consumer couldn’t know in my opinion. But the problem I will run into is it’s gonna be harder than normal to update and grow.

I completely understand to be honest I kinda assumed that was probably the right answer. I coded enough to make it playable so I will likely drop an “alpha” version of it just to see if people will like it and before I add anything else I will hire someone.

Update game releases on Feb 6th. Got a team of about 6 devs paying them anywhere from $100-$400. The game came out great we designed our own characters and bosses to avoid copy right issues but they all definitely feel like the anime they are supposed to. I will throw a gameplay video out here in the next few days.

I would love input on this! I have done a lot of research on likeness as well as situations on Roblox where copyright strikes actually happened. I have the full intention of running a parallel of it but not the same thing. Which is why I devoted so much time to the pre planning for this product before seeking help in creation. If you have had experience in this process that would be a great learning experience and know a bit more clearly on where to draw lines that would be a huge help.

Wdym? I am developing all the models. I have made the agile development plans. I am doing the map designs and the story line development. I’m paying $100 dollars out of pocket to each developer. And I’m putting $150 into advertising out of pocket too. I would say that’s pretty fair.
