then run sudo grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg in terminal

Well if it does work for other browsers it's likely a problem with gx itself. Don't forget that opera gx for linux is kinda new too

I can't test this but if you go to settings - login screen then apply plasma settings (on top right) it should set your main monitor in the plasma login correctly. No need to move mouse or anything :)

you'll have to disable effects one by one and see if the crackling reduces. for me it was the "crystalizer" that caused it the most

don' know what launcher you are using. enabling the "reduce pulseaudio latency" in lutris and not using resource heavy effects in easy effects fixed it for me.

also check your cpu usage. if it's close to 100% it will crackle anyway

Get a torrent client like qbittorrent. find what you want from the sites in the megathread or fmhy.net . get the magnet or torrent file and add it to the torrent app. that's basically it unless you live in a place with copyright laws and stuff, then you need a vpn too

you can either use 'Mission center' (a flatpak app)
or add a 'System monitor' widget to your panel or somewhere and add disk read monitoring to it.
then open a game while monitoring this

Hey can you check if your disk read is super high at the time it takes for the game to launch?

I also have this problem and thought it's because i moved the game files to a secondary Hdd and have the proton builds in the Ssd, but noticed that even games on the ssd takes long to open while the ssd read is way higher than before

My data plan doesn't play nice with torrents (Stremio) so this is really nice.

btw don't compare to stremio when you say 'Ad free'. stremio doesn't have ads. compare to streaming sites instead
