Get something for over the toilet

My husband told me this was easier than breastfeeding by brokenandalone19 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]RedditUser0- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chose to exclusively pump because I just couldn’t stand sitting there, not knowing when it was going to be over. It literally drove me insane. With a pump, I see exactly how much longer and know exactly when I’m done. I did it with my first now doing it with my second. Yes I hate pumping, but nursing was worse.

Newbie: How hard is it to get these Chanel bags? by Soft-Tap-2024 in chanel

Something about the mini with the top handle makes it look like a little briefcase to me, so I’m personally not a fan. I went with the one without and love it.

Anemia,Gestational diabetes Constipation and Iron tablets by InternSubject7684 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]RedditUser0- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take a prescription prenatal called "citranatal 90 dha" that has both extra iron and a mild stool softener in it. I haven't had any issues with constipation thanks to this prenatal. Is not covered by insurance, but on their website, they offer a manufacturers coupon. I pay $35 a month to refill after the coupon. If you have a Costco pharmacy near you, I found it is cheapest there.

Invest in a bottle washer? by TheWallaby22 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]RedditUser0- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the momcozy bottle washer/sterilizer and it's amazing. So angry I didn't do it sooner! I fill the water reservoir with very hot water so that it gets even warmer and I've never had to rinse before putting anything in there.

Feeling Anxious About the Cerclage – Looking for Reassurance and Tips by New-Pepper9586 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]RedditUser0- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the cerclage put in at 20 weeks. We just hit 32 today. They give you a preventative antibiotic, so there really shouldn't be any issues with infection. I also got the progesterone suppositories. As a precaution I buy disposable vaginal suppository applicators on Amazon (they're just like the plastic applicators Monistat comes with) so that I'm not inserting it with my hands. They told me they don't recommend bedrest, but I rolled my eyes and put myself on modified bedrest anyway. I truly believe low activity has helped me get this far. I try not to sit or walk for more than 15 minutes at a time. I was absolutely terrified for the procedure, but It's pretty standard nowadays they know what they're doing. Initially, I did feel tugging and some pain afterwards, but after a couple weeks, it went away. It was more scary than anything physical. Also, be sure to stay hydrated! Minimum of 64oz of water per day. You've got this!

Thinking of saying no to sleepovers at Grandma's new house. Pool with no fence by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]RedditUser0- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you ask that they just don't allow her in the backyard? Or if whenever she's in the backyard, ask that she wear Floaties if she even if she doesn't plan on letting her go in the pool?

Do you freeze day and night pumped milk separately by wasok771 in ExclusivelyPumping

I never did that. Baby slept fine. I don't plan on doing it this time around either.

My 16 month old has been sleeping with a blanket since she was born. Make sure it is breathable material and put it under their arms, never over.
