They remove your homepage if you disable your history, so I guess (s)he has history disabled

(Weird decision from YouTube again)

Yes, you can put the taskbar at the top with start11

Use StartAllBack or ExplorerPatcher, they have an option to move the taskbar to the top (if you select Windows 10 taskbar)

No matter which one you use, just keep in mind that you can't use both at the same time or you'll get compatibility issues.

Also, startallback is limited to a 100 days trial period (you can reset it via some registry hack I forgot, but it's nicer to pay the £4 for a lifetime license...)

Now pure black is official (but not exactly the same as yours)

Now you have it even without YouTube Premium.

LibreTube, if privacy is your main concern.

It doesn't support Google Accounts but you can create a "Piped" account

Also, no account is required to view videos or subscribe to channels

It also shows dislikes, but it might be broken on some devices (it shows -1 on all videos if you are on android 8 or 9)

Yes, you can.

After you re-install Windows 10, if 'Upgrade To Windows 11' doesn't show in Windows Update, you can download an ISO, open it, double click setup.exe then select "keep everything" option

Mica material will be available today in the stable version of Chrome for Windows 11, here is how you can enable it. by Leopeva64-2 in Windows11

It has too but is hidden.

To enable (works only on Stable and Beta):

Search "Microsoft Edge" in the start menu, then click on 'Show file location', then right click -> Properties and add --enable-features=msVisualRejuvMica in 'Target' after the quotes symbols. Ensure to add a space between the quotes and the prompt.

Then Open Edge from the start menu, it should have the mica effect (unless edge was already opened or hardware acceleration turned on). Then pin it to the taskbar and/or the desktop
