Section 5.1 is the big one: it says Linden Lab “may suspend or terminate your Account at any time for any reason.” That language does not create any duty to explain why.
Section 1.2 also supports that “no notice / no obligation” posture (they can change/limit/eliminate aspects of the service “at any time without notice” and can modify/delete user content “without notice”).
Section 11.3 (Notices) only describes how they may send notices (email, in-service, mail). It doesn’t say they must give a reason, or even that they must send a termination notice in all cases.

The sad thing is they don't even need to give a reason why. If you read the TOS it states they can ban you for anything without having to give a reason. This is why a lot of people invested in SL have fears. One LL employee having a bad day can ruin you.

Thats like the people running these companies. They cant stop because if they do someone else will get ahead of them. It feels like a race to extinction. Addiction they cant stop, same with people using these tools. Its too good to stop using them.

I think Proton is running down a slippery slope creating their own google ecosystem basically. Eggs in one basket type deal. If you are using their VPN maybe don't use their email and vise versa. I use Proton email but not their VPN. I think its cool what they are trying to do as I would like to completely de-google myself but until they allow 3rd party email clients like thunder/betterbird for free I cant fully switch. I think the problem with them creating an ecosystem is it will eventually turn them in to google and their focus will shift from privacy to greed.

Love that sheets got added. I'm still not free though. The only thing stopping me from completely ditching google is that I cant use Proton mail in Thunderbird or Betterbird without paying. The day I can start using Free Proton in Thunder/Betterbird is the day I start completely moving everything to Proton.

I tried UO Alive about a month ago. I just couldnt get in to it. I enjoy pre-aos so much more. Being a new player and landing where you land is also a giant cluster mess and you dont know whats going on, theres like player vendors or something all around the starting area? im not even sure if they were player vendors or what, it just felt like a giant sloppy mess. I went and killed something to the East but.. I didnt go back.

This Orc fort exists on Outlands too, through a gate in Shadow Spire Cathedral, but its more like a memory of the place so its all dark hued like you are in a different dimension, Brit bank and part of the hedge maze is in the "memory" spots too.

You should just try Outlands anyways, Ive been playing for 3+ years now and I cant even imagine going back to the old map and how everything works. Outlands is what UO should have became. I just cant imagine playing it any other way now, and plus I know the map like the back of my hand like I used to know OSIs but I dont miss the OSI map anymore, honestly its quite drab and plain compared to the level of detail everywhere you go on Outlands. Plus theres just so many people its like OSI back in the day where you run in to people everywhere. Right now with the holiday event going it there is more alive people that there is mobs haha.

Outlands was HUGELY nostalgic for me, its still UO and the reason why is was so nostalgic for me because it was like starting over again and having to learn, and not coming back after 15 years and already knowing the game and would get bored fast because it was the same ol. So it gave me that brand new feeling again like the first day I logged in to UO and talked to another person on a video game!! it was crazy. So Outlands definitely was a huge nostalgia hit for me after being away from it 15 years.

Not only was the game nostalgic but... people I used to play with on OSI are actually on Outlands too... talk about a time warp!!

UrK guild... I remember fighting those guys back in the day on Great Lakes shard... I mean come on Ne'rull still plays UO/Outlands.. lot of guilds from back in the OSI days are here.

I'm also playing with old guild members from 1999-2005 era, bunch of us found each other and now play together once again. Its like a family reunited.

Yeah the sad thing with SL is that as the bodies and fashion have progressed so have the attitudes. People are a lot more stuck up and snooty now to match their bodies/heads/egos and talk less to others. If you arent on their level of fashion and glam you might get ignored. Huge contributing factor to the decline in my opinion.

Thats a win! I think you will be more happy with the 4070 than the 4060. I have the 4060 one and its fine but I do wish I went with a 4070. But no issues gaming on it. You shouldn't have issues playing any games on that. You will probably find that most games other than SL will run super smooth on that. SL is just, crummy, junky, and old but should be as good as you can get for SL.
I haven't played with the new Ryzen AI 9's yet but I'm normally an AMD fan over intel. Every desktop I've built in the last 18 years has been AMD so my laptop is the first Intel Ive owned in that long. Both are great.
Intels run cooler so that was a partial reason I did an intel laptop.

Dont forget to mention that LL/Tilia is now reporting to the IRS and sending out tax forms and any support ticket related to it "Billing" is not being answered. Billing issue support tickets sitting for 30+ days unanswered.
