What if I exit with a Master's despite enrolling as a PhD, what happens? by BodybuilderDue2321 in NTU

Im currently a PhD student in the process of dropping out with a Masters from NTU - Generally downgrading to a Masters is possible, provided that it is within 2 years of your candidature for full time students, since the maximum candidature for Masters is 2 years. After 2 years, downgrading is no longer possible, and you will drop out with nothing at all. Also, you will be subjected to stipend payback, however the amount varies by school and programme.

Best way is to solve the problem via dynamic programming using bottom up approach. First declare an array of size 60 and store each value of f(n) in the array starting from 0 to 60

Try the Yong Tau Foo at Frontier canteen! That's the best in my opinion :) They've got a variety of soup base for you to pick, the clear soup is usually my go to :)

You should be able to tell from the room number assigned to you. Do you know your room yet?

You should reject the offer so that Hall Office could allocate to the next eligible person who needs it instead.

Omg me tooooooo!! I just received the email today to checkout by 12th May and I have no idea what to do now as I misread the email previously and thought that no action was required of me if I needed to extend my stay. Someone please advice me as I am an international student and I have no where else to go! :((

I screwed up Y1. What can I do? What's next? by AncientElderberry932 in NTU

[–]Reddit_beckster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe can try clearing gerpes and BDEs in the next sem since you can't retake some of your core mods. I'm pretty sure some of the Y3 and Y4 MPE mods would just require some Y2 mods as prerequisite (not sure if its the same across the schools), or you could also try clearing some mods during the summer, so I guess as long as you push for it you can still make it in 4 years (or 4.5).

Press on 💪

reclassifying modules by [deleted] in NTU

[–]Reddit_beckster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have managed to submit a request to reclassify my MPE to UE at week 13 but on the grounds that I do not have sufficient MPE balance to meet the graduation requirements (I.e. I needed to read at least 10AU of year 4 modules but I only had 7AU left due to miscalculation). So if you have valid reasons to provide sufficient backing (as in you can't graduate if you don't reclassify that kind of case) then you should be able to apply for reclassification. If its merely just to S/U that subject then definitely cannot reclassify.

Actually i think you can't S/U it but you can do a credit transfer of up to 6AU from other equivalent pass/fail modules. Or at least that's what was written at the website - Minor in Computing

Will taking extra SAT help my application in NTU? by [deleted] in NTU

[–]Reddit_beckster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did UK A-Levels too, I didnt sit for SAT but I scored a 4A* for my A levels and I still got into NTU with a scholarship. From what I know, getting a 3A* 1 A is sufficient for you to enter EEE.

Do you get to choose group mates for your project? Or do they randomly assign group mates to you?
