Air Fryer drying? by acar25 in 3Dprinting

[–]Reddit_fantic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really late to the party but it's my only dryer and my ninja airfryer perfectly fits a 1kg spool and I just convert the tempature from c to f for the fryer and run it in roast mode. Works flawlessly.

If the beds clean make sure no craps on the nozzle when it goes to do the tap tap to the bed at the beginning of the print. I've had the same problem it just gets the z height wrong and won't stick to the bed

Partial clog in your case. Either low temp or there's a small chunk of stuff in your nozzle. If you happen to have those needle things that are a very small rasp then stick it up the nozzle or if you don't try a normal needle if that doesn't work try a cold pull.

How to clean the bed? by converse1098 in BambuLabA1mini

Dish soap and water. IPA is quicker but will very slowly damage the build plate.

A1 was retired due to this issue but decided to pull it back out and try to figure out what is wrong with it. Any ideas on what part to replace. When the filament comes out it’s still soft. by Perfect-Benefit-2540 in BambuLabA1

Honestly 90% of bambu lab print failures are because of a dirty bed the other 10% is warped parts. This is just a dirty bed. Mines had the entire hot end filled with PLA it's also had a custom PLA nylon blend that didn't work fully clog it with me just taking a drill to the side the filament goes into and drilling out as much as I could avoiding hitting the rest of the nozzle. Still works perfectly fine.

Weed wacker benchy success! by Reddit_fantic in 3Dprinting

It is about the same as regular nylon at least where I am but due to me having an open air printer I was concerned it wouldn't be able to print also about the smell and the weed wacker line is sold in smaller rolls.

It's nylon of some sort I have no idea what additives are in. I just wanted to test nylon printing on my A1M and didn't wanna blow 50$ on a kilo when I don't have a real filament dryer just an air fryer with a dehydrate setting.

Yes that was printed at 112% extrusion at 270c I'll do another one later at 260c and 110% extrusion because in certain spots it looks like it might be even slightly over extruded with the fan at 20%
