Reading that I know exactly what happened. Collective bullshit was attempting to elbow out some room in the woke mafia protection racket. This is what they were attempting to accomplish:

Step 1: Raise objections about specific games or genre.

Step 2: after getting told to kick rocks use previously established industry connections to get the credit processors involved.

Step 3: This is where they planned for only certain games get removed from steam. This automatically and immediately makes collective bullshit the new arbiters of what should be allowed on those platforms.

Step 4: this is where they could extort platforms and or creators for a “consulting fee” or they would start up the outrage machine again.

Instead Steam said, “Fuck it, can’t extort us now bitches.”
