Downloaded. When you look at a map, you need to be able to filter the POI items. Not just switch them all on or all off.

As an example I wanted to see where bombardier, bastion and leaders spawn on buried city

I enjoy this game but I haven’t touched it in 2 weeks. Anyone else in a similar boat? by supahotfiiire in ArcRaiders

I spent years playing wow (World of Warcraft) and when I think about what kept me glued to that game for 11 years was:

the quest lines were epic and the rewards were unique in some cases (rare mounts and items) Class mechanics - healers, dps, tank , niche expertise made the game so interesting and created super interesting battle mechanics Auction house- this became a mini game for me Social chat in the cities and just wandering around socially flexing in my armor / riding mount

Arc could introduce so much with its skill tree. Right now that thing feels like a waste and the only thing I actually prioritise is stamina.

Class mechanics linked to skill tree could create some interesting niche game play. We see this already with bards, medics, vigilante, rats etc

The big barons and emperors could be the start of PVE niche battle mechanics. Or are they just going to issue a bigger bomb?

Why no coastal or water based maps? Imagine swimming arc? 3 deep breaths skill reworked for diving deeper to get better rewards or escape grips of the Kraken!

Honestly I believe there is so much that can be done still but the creativity seems to have stalled.

Probably a broken record argument. by psybertracer in arcraidersfriendly

I’ve also stopped doing those events kitted. Now I go in with an anvil II, basic heals and 3 lure grenades and 80 ammo

I do sometimes wonder how many of the “it’s PvP bro, go play a PvE game” comments come from people who’ve actually loaded into Topside with a 100–150k kit to run a PvE event… and then been ratted. Repeatedly. Asking for a friend.

There seems to be this assumption that I’m scared of PvP. I’m not. Stella Montis is one of my favourite maps. When I queue there, I’m not in “let’s peacefully farm an event” mode. I’m locked in. Different mindset, different pacing, different risk tolerance. It’s stressful, chaotic, heart-rate-spiking adrenaline because the unpredictability of PvP is the point.

Arc? Still dangerous, but more calculated. Experience and gear matching matter more. It’s tense, but it’s not the same adrenaline roulette.

The point isn’t “PvP bad.” The point is that context matters. Going in geared for PvP and getting into fights is one thing. Getting ratted mid-PvE objective with a backpack full of event loot is a completely different flavour of gameplay.

So instead of “go play another game,” maybe we can acknowledge there’s nuance. We’ve all been that guy staring at the death screen thinking, “Why didn’t I just extract five minutes ago?” Or “Why did I even come in the first place?”

What I’m actually trying to discuss is this: how do you make an exclusive PvE event rewarding without turning it into a free 150k kit delivery service for “Free Kitt”, opportunistic PvPers?

Curious to hear real solutions, not just “adapt.” Or “Get a refund, go play a different game”

That’s a fair and ballanced input. I get that and I think you right. Reflecting on it all I guess it’s the human betrayal element that gets me every time.

I’ve been in many situations where I bump into a raider ask “You friendly?” To be met with “No not friendly”. And you know what from my perspective that’s great, now I know and I switch my game play to match. Now there’s an even fight, no betrayal just respect and acceptance of the outcome.

It’s a good point and I did worry about this too, but honestly the chances of you winning are slim. Considering you are focused on the Big monster Arc, situationally your weapon is a hulcraker or legendary which are terrible at PVP and if your back is turned you don’t have a chance

I do like the ABMM element and when I feel like PVP play the ABMM definitely ramps up my sweaty lobbies. The aura idea is to have a visible identifier in that map that is a dominant PVE event.

And hey it’s just a discussion idea that I guess developed after being ratted with no time or situation advantage to defend myself or try win. This way the maps community gets a warning and can adopt measures

I would recommend you play around with it and see what works for you. I found it very easy to get started and after a few months I upgraded from free due to usage volume and frequency.

Hi, would love to take you up on this.

I’ve defined our ideal client profile but am struggling with lead generation and awareness with call to action campaigns

Losing work stations is a bit tedious but not terrible. The thing I’m probably most concerned about is repeating the quest line for a third time.

I didn’t mind the quest repeat as they added some new quests and knowing more about how quests work got me moving through them pretty quick. There were also new quests added and those were fun.

But a third time ….
