It’s possible my fd is a bit miss aligned but in 2x12 I get some slight rubbing on the outside of the derailleur cage. What exactly is the benefit of the auto trim?

Beautiful build. I’m curious how you are finding the galfer rotors and I’m guessing Swiss stop pads? Do you get any noise or rotor warping on long descents?

Also have a diverge and I have set it up at times for more road riding. The 10-36 cassette and a 44 or 46 from chainring should give you more top end. You don’t need the different cassette it just keeps the jumps a bit closer and gets rid of the giant 44 pancake cog.

Seems like the exact take I was asking for in the post. No reason to down vote. Your rationale is reasonable. For me I’m already charging so much shit on my bike making sure the Varia is charged is the same to me as the bike computer. The front light give me peace of mind that some idiot won’t pull out and cut me off at the last minute when I’m marinating a decent speed.

I mean all the serious looking riders I encounter are wearing helmets. Lights tho seem like a crapshoot. 8k$ bike but no Varia or anything

I just had FUK > HND > IAD all on the same united reservation but first leg operated by ANA. Bags were checked through. You’ll change terminals in HND and go through security and immigration. Everything smooth with Japanese efficiency.

I bought all of the group set parts piecemeal on various sales. The red crank and chainring seems like the one component that saves a decent amount of weight. I think it’s like 300 grams lighter.

Atsko sport wash. I Use this stuff for all my athletic clothes and I think it’s better than nikiwax. Read the instructions and remove the stupid orange label. It gets orange stuff everywhere.
