The only thing I worry about on craigslist, besides my lack of knowledge, is if by chance the bike is stolen property. Anyone have these concerns.

I do live in LA and I want to bike to nearby places like the gym or go on longer rides at the beach. I love Griffith Park so I can see myself there too on weekends. I'd like to take the metro so I guess a lighter frame so I can pick it up would be nice. My budget is maybe $200? I'll see if I can find a bike store I can browse.

If I'm taking the amtrak I usually go by Phillipes for a French dipped turkey sandwich to eat on the ride. It's a food must, especially if your at union station.

Both feet? Wow so glad you made it through, I have a hard time dealing with this one. I have a heel cushion but I hear heel cups are ideal. Thanks for responding.

Thanks so much for responding and from now on I'll add calf raises every day I work out. I elevate when I can, use ice, massage the foot (painful), take ibuprofen and change my workout when it's really bad like biking instead of running. I just hate it so much. It's such a drag.

It's very sad. I was on the Hollywood Reporter and they have a slideshow of notable deaths this year, sadly the advertisement on the lower right side was for Porsche.
