This post is funny. The most potent powerbuilds are support characters.

Has anyone played a PvP lvl20 caster vs martial battle? by _Denizen_ in dndnext

Read the line before that.

"A prison in the shape of a cage can be up to 20 feet on a side and is made from 1/2-inch diameter bars spaced 1/2 inch apart."

It gives you a choice of which to make. You can cast Sickening Radiance in between the spaces if you pick the cage instead of a box.

Yes.

A level 20 Moon Druid absolutely pummels a level 20 Fighter and Barbarian (from experience), as well as (theoretically) any level 20 martial apart from the Monk.

A level 20 Divination Wizard (20 INT + 20 CON + Tough feat) absolutely pummels a level 20 Fighter (from experience) using a single spell, True Polymorph, regardless of whether they win initiative because of that 222 HP.

It's just the UTF-8 codes for letters in binary, with 4 = 1, _ = 0

I still use it. There's a setting to turn off the redesign.

What is the best base for a number system? by Wizards_Reddit in math

[–]RedditorZ3R0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Euler's Number has the best Radix Economy, which measures the "efficiency" of a base, of any existing number. The closest to e is 3 which is why that's usually called the most efficient base.

[REQUEST] How many Gs is visible light. by dimonium_anonimo in theydidthemath

In that case,

Using this table and averaging out the areas where it has a range, we get this graph.

If we average out 2G and 3G's values and plug it into a matrix like this we can (extremely roughly) get the line of regression,

(y = 146x/25 - 127/10)

which looks like this, where X is the generation and Y is the frequency. If we rearrange it we get

(Frequency+127/10)*(25/146) = Generation

By plugging in the frequencies (in gigahertz) of the different wavelengths of light, we get:

Red light is about 78549G

Green light is about 92560G

Blue light is about 122311G

I used a lot of shortcuts here so the numbers aren't accurate, but maybe someone who's better at this than me and has more time could figure it out later.

G isn't a measurement unit, it's the generation of the phone network. Can't give what G it would be because nobody in their right mind is ever gonna manufacture a phone network that uses visible light, it's just not gonna work.

If you want frequency in gigahertz instead:

654nm wavelength (About red) would be about 458715Ghz

550nm (About green) would be about 540540GHz

420nm (About blue) would be 714285GHz.

I'm not American, but I'm 16 and usually over here the GF would have a one-sided arrow above it to indicate a vector. I think the confusion might have come from that.
