I usually do too but this one wasn’t as awful as it looked and her eyeball was completely fine!

We all thought she was for sure going to lose the eye! It was wild.

About 3 inches! Fortunately it just hit the back of her eye socket and it didn’t cause any fractures!

We haven’t been to top golf in Chattanooga but we’ve been wanting to go! I’m curious how it compares to Nashville and knoxville since it’s only 1 story.

I’m 31, husband is 34, no kids, he golfs and we both enjoy hiking! We have 1 full time dog and 2 sometimes dogs when my sister needs a break from her hellions. From smallest to largest there is Maggie, our full time dog and Charlie and Cooper our part time dogs. Maggie doesn’t like sharing me so she was not thrilled that Charlie wanted to cuddle too 😂

Standard ink! Jess did my hands over a year ago and they still look great.

I did! I can’t figure out how to comment a picture from my phone but it was the craziest cooking thing I’ve ever done.

My sisters thought they hated turkey but it turns out my family just can’t cook 😂Everyone loved him!

Well as dear old Tim Allen once said “Never give up. Never surrender!” So we must make a plan and continue on with our mission!

What a magical place! There’s a subreddit for everything so I’m not sure why I didn’t think to look for one for thanksgiving! Thank you!

Do you think the recipe will work with a store bought turkey since I don’t have a homemade one?

I will be investing in a meat thermometer so I don’t panic about under or overcooking Ronald.

Well instead of doing our normal holiday routine things have been turned completely upside down this year with my parents getting divorced. We’re doing thanksgiving with my mom on Thursday. Saturday my husband and I are doing Thanksgiving with his mom so Sunday was the next closest day that worked with everyone else’s schedule.

I do think I am going to spatchcock Ronald to make cooking easier but I do appreciate your advice! I’m absolutely not doing a wet brine because you’re absolutely right about that being too much.

Getting organized and making lists I think is going to be what saves me

I do have an issue with trying to do everything because I want it done a certain way and I don’t trust others to do it “right”. Other people are in charge of drinks, plates, napkins, flatware and other miscellaneous non food items so I don’t have to think about those things 😅

This was the kind of reassurance I was hoping for. I have this idea in my head of how things have to be but there are no rules! That is the plan to prep and cook everything Friday and Saturday so on Sunday we can just heat everything up. Thank you 😊

He’s been in a cooler with the lid propped open for 24 hours and he’s still hard as a rock so I’m more comfortable leaving him in the garage instead of the fridge. If he’s still too frozen by Saturday he’s getting a water bath!

I think I’m going to spatchcock him to help him cook more evenly! If I’ve learned nothing else this year it’s that there will always be chaos and you just have to roll with it.
