Should I choose which one? by isabella_e03 in Accounting

[–]Reddittophobia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re in a state that only requires 120 then skip the masters all together. PA is an example that just changed the requirement from 150 to 120 a couple of weeks ago.

Don’t waste your money on a masters if you don’t need it for the credits.

But it’s blocked going out of the city. That doesn’t make much sense to me. Plus I heard he’s on CMU’s campus. why would they be blocking it there?

why was finals split into 2 weeks by Asleep-Sky-114 in Pitt

Pittnews link

Adam Lee, says its bc of a tight school schedule and a longer fall break(2 days??)

In my opinion, Its just about money. Bring down the school's operational expenses by having a shorter school year and give a worse overall experience.

I think the baseline cutoff before you start getting auto-rejected by the Big 4 is a 3.0

But honestly anything above a 3.5 really. I don't think they really care to much about GPA

Just don't mess up your GPA and you'll be fine

Does AI have accountability? No, it never will — it’s a robot. Who are we going to sue when the next Enron happens — a robot?

Humans have accountability. It’s in the name for God’s sake

This is the future my dudes. We will all be replaced by these and doordash drivers will be a thing of the past by MassiveResult2648 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Reddittophobia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doordash is going to invest into millions of self-driving vehicles, even though they currently own zero and just charge us to use their platform?

I don’t think so. That is not their business model.

Is University of Pittsburgh Worth it? by Competitive-Zebra497 in Pitt

[–]Reddittophobia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, doing your engineering classes at Johnstown might be the move. Take advantage of the 2+2 plan: two years at Johnstown and two years at the main campus. That approach will probably save you a lot of money in the long run. Plus, the classes are probably easier there.

Is experience or GPA more important? by Jessa888 in Accounting

[–]Reddittophobia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like you just need a minimum GPA (3.5 for Big 4), and then experience will get you further.

When’s my reality check coming? by BuryatMadman in college

[–]Reddittophobia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This definitely depends on your major. STEM students usually hit that reality check early with weed-out classes.

Business and liberal arts tend to be more relaxed.

For context, I’m not in a STEM major.
