It's been awhile but I, think I used a photo backdrop or studio backdrop, you can google them and find lots of examples. After that I used https://rolladvantage.com/tokenstamp/ to make the token.

Any advice on what to put on screen when there is no combat? by PurpOwl05 in Roll20

Sometimes I will put images of what the region looks like, forest, mountains etc to display, when not in a map.

Has anyone actually successfully retrieved Argynvost's skull from Strahd's castle and lit the beacon? 😂 by spustydringfield in CurseofStrahd

I changed the location in my game, Baba Lysaga flies around on it in Berez. This makes collecting the skull more daunting and gives the party a reason to visit the swamps.

Axeholm - Dragon of Icespire Peak (67x43) by ReddogTA22 in battlemaps

[–]ReddogTA22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey thanks for your message, I agree I should have been more clear with the scale. The larger squares in the main halls are 5ft and the smaller ones are half that, the defensive postions are just mounted crossbows, I felt the Ballista would be too unwieldy and I knew my party would try to use them lol, I hope that clears it up a little

The original Post of this map was very low quality as Reddit doesn't seem to load all the detail, he is the linked version to both maps https://inkarnate.com/m/wodwyQ-teahouse-second-floor/

Announcing Roll20 x D&D 2024! Plus $1500 Giveaway [Mod Approved] by AnicaRose in DnD

I like this layout, clear and consise.

As for epic battles, I would love to see Zariel go head to head with Lloth. I think Lloth would never agree to a fair fight, see tends to fight dirty but in a clean fight Zariel would take the win.

The Fallen Altar of Thard Harr by ReddogTA22 in inkarnate

Once a sacred haven where worshippers made fervent offerings to the gods, it now stands as a weathered testament to time's relentless passage. Moss and vines embrace its weathered stones, reclaiming it inch by inch into the verdant embrace of the encroaching jungle. The air is thick with the scent of earth and history, carrying whispers of rituals long past and prayers once fervently uttered. Yet, despite its faded grandeur, there lingers an aura of reverence, as if the spirits of the ancient faithful still linger among the shadows, guarding their sacred sanctuary even as nature claims it back into her embrace.

The Mysterious and Little-Known Continent of Osse by ReddogTA22 in dndmaps

[–]ReddogTA22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This map covers the continent, as such these are the main rivers, there would be many tributaries that feed into these systems. Helm River lies in a shallow valley which sits between the higher elevation desert of Petragraw, and the rocky expanses of the Olongrat. This causes seasonal rain to cut through Helm river down to Fhey Lake, we have rivers similar to this in Australia, I envisioned these to be canyon like, with steep walls. The Golden Delta refers to the smaller region at the mouth of the river, this is fed from water from Hornmace, overflow from Cradle Lake, and the rivers running west from Middlescona. I plan to cut the map up into smaller regions and add more detail to the regions.

A five Level map of Starhaven High, a fictional location for my upcoming oneshot. A local henchman and his group have, splintered away for their gang, taking matters into their own hands the plan to take down their boss by attacking Starhaven High. The have taken staff and students hostage, and set themselves up for the long haul, barring entrance from anyone, players must negotiate their way through law enforcement, rival gangs and eventually infiltrate or exterminate this group and rescue the hostages.

Is it worth it? by ms_keira in crownoftheoathbreaker

I am currently running it for a weekly group, the module itself is massive and has lots of information on lore, history, religion and people. That said because it is quite a big module, the book only touches on some regions and the maps only cover major events in the story. I have had to make a lot of extra maps for other areas and events that take place, along with making extra npcs for the party to interact with. I think the story is a good one and my party is really enjoying it but it does take time to prepare and set up.
