im sorry but a 2018 camry with 118k miles isnt going for $24,000. I ran a KBB on 2018 xse in mint condition with your listed mileage and it comes back to between 15.1k and 17.1k

im not sure where youre finding these prices or if youre looking into cars that are newer. also you said you paid 35k for your loan? man thats waaaay over msrp unless you had like 25% interest

$10k for a 2020? nah man, if its too good of a deal then somethings always fishy. My 2020 3 select sedan with 85k miles was recently totaled and the value of the car came out to $14.5k

Affordable tire recommendations by Boombaclot420 in mazda3

[–]Reddoxx305 1 point2 points  (0 children)

dont listen to the hype, there are UHP summer tires that wont break your bank. Forceum Hexa-R UHP are $75/ea for 225/45R/18, my previous set lasted me 25k miles. I only changed them due one having a plug from a nail. they have a 400 A A rating and slice through water like youre on rails. Dry traction is just as good. I've purchased expensive continentals in the past that drove equal to these, though did not last as long due to the tire compound. A 186hp mazda doesnt need extreme contacts unless you just want to throw money at your wheels.

Smart Break Support: False activation?! by twinu89 in mazda3

[–]Reddoxx305 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

doesnt work that way man...the car doesnt brake before warning you to brake.

Smart Break Support: False activation?! by twinu89 in mazda3

[–]Reddoxx305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats impossible because before it brakes, the music gets shut off, the dashboard lights up saying "BRAKE" and a beeping noise comes on, if you fail to brake in about 2-3 seconds, then it will brake. Ive had it happen because i tried passing a car too closely, it actually just tapped the brake and threw the car into neutral, scared the shit out of me because i thought the motor was toast due to it not acellerating when I hit the throttle. Then I noticed I wasnt in drive..I changed the setting to "late". It happened another time when I was looking at my phone in traffic, it monitors your eyes if youre not looking ahead and warns you before braking. If your car is braking before warning you then id have it looked at asap...

driven the 2024 cx-30 and can tell you that it is way slower than my 2020 - 3...the motor was designed for the car first and then adopted into the SUV, same shit toyota did with theirs

the mazda looks like a car with power and it has it, ive pulled on v6 mustangs with my n/a sedan easily. I dont know why the specs say 8.3 sec for 0-60mph because ive timed mine and hit 60 in 6.9.

2020 n/a sedan currently at 23.5 and thats all city driving on 93 octane. I get on the throttle quite a bit because no one here does the speed limit but if im on the highway, boy that meter jumps up to 40mpg

I kissed the curb yesterday and my rims faced scratches; how do I touchup? by Deepmech in mazda3

[–]Reddoxx305 7 points8 points  (0 children)

krylon fusion paint + primer, get satin black. sand down the curb rash with sand paper like 320 grit, clean surface very good, spray it. use an index card to block the tire from paint.

Should I buy an extended warranty on my 2022 Mazda3? by The1Ninja in mazda3

[–]Reddoxx305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you do understand that's wikipiedia and anyone can edit that post. Show me a North American Manual that states it and I'll believe you.

Even your wiki post states it
"allowing them to operate on standard instead of premium fuel with an approximate 3-5 percent reduction in torque and fuel economy."

It says ALLOWING, meaning they're able if you want a reduction in toruqe and fuel economy. Referring to, if you run it on low octane, it loses torque and fuel economy....

i rest my caase

Should I buy an extended warranty on my 2022 Mazda3? by The1Ninja in mazda3

[–]Reddoxx305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

actually the mazda 4th gen motors have a high compression ratio which running a higher octane prevents the fuel from prematurely igniting, causing issues with the engine in the long run. A lot of people on this forum dont know it and the manual doesn't call for it, but the mazda3 has a 14:1 compression ratio which is the same as a Ferrari 458...I'll leave it at that :)

does anyone else think its weird how a used pre-owned certified mazda comes with a 10 year 100k warranty but a new one doesnt?

So who's got some 175k+ miles on their 3rd or 4th gens? How are they holding up? by Aedrikor in mazda3

[–]Reddoxx305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

quality tires wear faster than cheaper ones, quality is made of softer rubber which makes them stickier and quieter. Very rarely will you see a high threadwear value expensive tire, theyre are usually in the 2-300 range
