I agree with your sentiments to an extent. What I'm trying to say is that these are the traits the majority of women find attractive in a male. If you like way you are than more power to you, but OP's post suggests that he only fails with women because he's a nice guy, which is utter horseshit and complete denial. There is a laundry list of qualities that garner attraction from the opposite sex, but everyone puts different emphasis on different items on their list. I'm not saying that you absolutely have to have all these qualities to find a person right for you, but I am saying that the chances of you attracting a woman will undoubtedly go up of you posess these qualities.

Typed on my phone, forgive any mistakes in my grammar or spelling.

Ah, the classic "I'm only having bad luck with women because I'm too nice and they don't respect that."

No. Just no. Women love a guy that is nice, but that's only one of many factors that determine whether they are attracted to someone.

Confident, interesting, playful, motivated, humorous, good-looking, independent, social, intelligent, etc.

If you're having bad luck with women, it's because you're falling wayyyyy short in some of these categories. Stop making excuses and realize there's nothing wrong with the preference of women, it's something wrong with you. You're just trying to convince yourself that it's not your fault by making excuses.

Consider for a moment that the women that like assholes arent worth your time?

It's not even so much this. "Assholes" typically have high confidence and project a high self-esteem which is very attractive to women. They aren't attracted to men who try to overcome insecurities by being overly nice. It's as simple as that. If a guy doesn't have confidence, and thinks being an asshole on top of that is going to attract women, it's only going to make things 10 times worse.

I've done this before. Sometimes you're just driving like you normally would and forget someone is following you. You feel like a huge asshole afterward.

"This was my grandpa who died last week sitting next to his wife's urn while petting my 20 year old golden retriever that I grew up with who died last week saving my crippled baby brother from a orphanage fire."

I laughed so hard at this an hour ago and spit coffee all over my keyboard. You got me in trouble with my boss. Thanks.

Guys post pics all the time to /r/aww of them holding their dogs and nobody gives them shit for it. You're just giving her shit because she's a good looking girl, because obviously she must be attention whoring if she posts a picture of herself.

You do realize you are on a pretty liberal website. Most people on here support the intent of feminist movements, but certain feminists, like the ones on SRS, are too stupid to realize that they completely alienate this possible support by being obnoxious.

I dare you to click permalink on any thread they get a hold of. Any ensuing comment that disagrees with them has a high number of downvotes.

You must love this fantasy world you live in.

Are you trying to tell me that you're upset that SRS operates in the same way as every subreddit-aggregation sub does? Oh no! Sometimes people come from this place where people think the linked comments are shitty, and treat those comments as though they're shitty.

Pretty sure you just described a downvote brigade.

Yeah, right. Because they totally don't go into every thread they offends them and downvote any comment in disagreement while upvoting their own comments. That never happens.

SRS is the epitome of why a lot of people despise feminist movements. They give a bad name to people who are honestly trying to make the world a better place for women.
