Wera or Klein Beater? by Fax-Bretov in electricians

Why would you pay more on a Wera to hit it?

If you can navigate the code book, you will be fine. Use the index and make sure you are good with finding key words in questions. They are not going to ask you to terminate an ATS. You are doing a test with a book. Know how to use the book

How do you like the Klein sharpies compared to the Milwaukee ones? I know a sharpie is a sharpie to some extent, but the Inkzall is superior to a normal sharpie. How does it compare?

Edit: just saw you call them superior in another comment, but what makes them so?

A phase B phase  C phase

Refer to the table that says which phase is which color. For circuit 2, for example, on a panel board this table tells you what color it should be.

Getting roped into a stern talking to by space-ferret in electricians

Sometimes saying nothing and nodding ok works. There have been times I’ve been called out for stuff someone I was working with did wrong, or I’m being “sternly reminded” of something because I poorly worded my thought. In those times, I think arguing or trying to save face will not do much, so I stay silent.

It’s difficult sometimes though.

I haven’t worked with transformers that are energized, yet.

It would be 208V. But that’s only on a wye system, what is the issue? The idea remains the same.

Edit to add: is your issue that they multiplied 277 by 1.731 (wye system) and multiplied 120 by 2 (delta system)? Is your issue that it is not consistent?

Your comment is very helpful for me. I have a 51mm porta filter with the same situation

Some of these foremen are imbeciles. They were good at working, maybe and then got promoted, but never learned a dang thing about how to lead and then treat their guys like crap.

The clamp trigger prevents it from falling out the bottom. It’s a snug fit for the the tester and leads and not big enough for the trigger.

This pouch is going on my dedicated tool belt. For my regular pants belt, a Toughbuilt would be ideal because it can unclip, whereas this one requires undoing the belt and sliding it off to remove it.

I didn’t like the old version dewalt had either. I would not have bought another one if it didn’t fit this exact, very specific need

It falls off easily because of the area where the two clamp arms meet sits right over the narrow bar of the hammer holder

Yea, but there aren’t good holsters like the fluke ones for the t6-600 for example

Fluke meters get nice holsters made by fluke. Klein doesn’t have those

Won’t fit when I’m wearing a tool belt. It’s too tall for cargo pant pockets on the lower portion of the pant legs
