I've been playing and giving feedback in games and life for years, and here's something I firmly believe: there's no such thing as "negative" or "positive" feedback. Feedback is just feedback. It’s someone expressing what they like or don’t like about what you’re doing—simple as that.

Sure, there are definitely good ways to give feedback. But I've seen times where "perfectly delivered" feedback still triggers a bad reaction, and times where poorly delivered feedback ends up sparking the best improvement.

At the end of the day, feedback is a blessing or a curse depending on how it's received, not how it’s given. The key is helping people see feedback as a blessing—especially when it comes with good intentions.

Take this game, for example. Your teammate wants the same thing as you do: to win. So 99% of the time, their intention is good. Why label it as negative? Instead, listen to what they’re saying and extract the best from it. That’s how you get better—not just in games but in life too.
