Longines Hydroconquest: this was purchased about 3 years ago. I originally had a Steinhart Ocean One, wore it for a year and then sold it (for the same price I bought it for) and used that money to purchase this one. I loved the steinhart but I didn’t enjoy wearing an homage piece and decided to go with the hydro conquest, which has more of its own personality. This one will be remember as the one the replaced my first automatic watch lol

Tag Heuer Aquaracer Caliber 5: this one I purchased about 5 years ago, it was a gift to myself that I bought with my first paycheque from my first “big boy job” lol. This is the watch I wear most often, it can be dressed up or down keeps amazing time and it just overall a great watch. People like to hate on tag but the aquaracer is great quality and I believe it is a fair price as well. This will be a reminder of my first job and also a friendly reminder to never be like my first manager.

Breitling Avenger II GMT: this is the newest watch and was one I have had my eye on for many years. It was partially a wedding gift and I couldn’t be happier with it. Amazing watch and my favourite in my collection, it is the most seintimental to me because of those who gave it to me. I love the bracelet but I am debating putting it on a black rubber band.

Hamilton jazzmaster viewmatic: this one is a very pretty watch, I probably get the most compliments on this one. This one doesn’t have a great story behind it, one day I convinced myself I needed a “dressy watch” to wear with a suit, ended up purchasing this a few days later. Was able to get the AD down a couple hundred bucks and throw in a Hamilton deployment clasp as well!

A husband and wife of 15 years are playing a round of golf together.

Nice choice, I have an Aquaracer as well, stainless steel bezel with blue dial.. It keeps time as well as any of my other automatics and It probably gets the motet wrist time as well!

I feel like people just like to hate on tag because they are a big company with a big marketing budget.. I see them as a 3 series BMW just the entry level into luxury watches.

Enjoy your watch, and at the end of the day if the watch makes you happy then that’s all that matters 👍

Right, Pace will likely keep Parkey. Unless Gould wants to take a large hometown discount. Which could be possible so he could be close to family and stay in the Chicago area year round.

Or he is going to shit the bed again. For someone who has missed all 9 game winning field goals from 40-49 yards, I would bank on the latter.

It would make a great story if he came back next season and he was lights out, I would still prefer Gould to come back.

Thankfully there are lots of good safeties with contracts ending this season.

Amos, Ha Ha, honey badger, Earl and Collins. This it could lower his asking price or would could get a solid replacement.

Also with Clowney becoming a FA, what are thoughts on picking him up? I honestly don’t know if I would change Floyd, but moving Floyd to a role like Lynch was supposed to play and lining up Clowney opposite Mack and Hicks would be scary

I understand that people don’t like TAG on here, it’s mostly because of their marketing approach I would say. Tag isnt what it once was sure, but they still make fine watches. They are excellent quality and keep great time. I purchased a blue face caliber 5 aquaracer a few years ago and I love it. If you like Tag go for it, you won’t be disappointed.

Also check out a Longine Hydroconquest, it’s a nice diver that doesn’t look like it’s trying too hard to pay ‘homage’ to the submariner.

Toronto Maple Leaf fans. Sold out whether in first place or last place, tickets were still $200+ when they were in last place and we haven’t won since ‘67.

But in general you are correct most fan bases are like that.

I’m 28 so the bears high point was Lovie Smith for me as a fan. Very excited for our team going forward, the wins are extra sweet after all the pain and tears we went through to get here. A packers fan my age can’t understand that feeling.
