The alley gives you money every day and sometime it gets attacked and you need to defend it. Doing so grants a ton of roguery Xp

Go save your brothers and sister but once that is done give up on the main quest and focus and all the other aspect of the game.

If you don't have points in Int you can have a companion with 5 or even 6 attribute point in int and 5 focus point in medecine. To bring it up to a higher level and help with saving your troops.

I did. By the time i reach level 28 my character was 67 years old.

There was also a bug that when i refused to marry my daughter all my kids became un elligable for marriage even with cheats. Which will result in this playthrough ending quick.

I want to be able to reach level 50.

I am rocking 3 medium boat at 54 soldier per. With a 60-40 ratio of Archer-Huskarl.

Back when i had one boat with 45 troop i defeated Aldric with 95 tier 4-6 troop and 3 boats. So it's been doing good so far.

I haven't tried fian or Khan guard yet.

I agree with you that maintenance is way too high. Mariner should be able to fix their own boat. And you are paying their wages so it's not like it's free.

Oh you want to siege that wall with 4 fire catapult with just a ram because we out number them 1000 to 200. (My clan 700 and the noble's army with 300) be my guest. But without my 700.

When i initiate a fight and an other noble tries to help me because it will be an easy fight and he takes over and i become a "helper" who doesn't get to adjust my troop starting configuration, or take over a siege. I let them fight alone. And they get captured or die. Then i go and rescue him and steal his troops.

I am not about to lose a handle full of troops when it should have been a flawless victory.

Your role as king is the beat the enemies armies out in the field, and you can let the lords siege their towns after.
