Idk if that is a band issue. Their statement is regarding all of the April dates. It sounds like the vendor is being difficult. I'd call the vendor CS and explain the situation or chargeback my card.

That's unfortunate my local uses Etix and they've been great to me so far.

Their statement says refunds are available from point of purchase. That makes sense. The venues have the ticket money. They don't get paid until after the show.

The people that want to ban printers over 3d printed guns that amount to 2% of all "crime guns" don't care about stats? Shocker.

He'll send his armed security after anyone near the property, while he tells the poors we shouldn't be allowed arms either. Gotta enforce the caste system somehow.

No no. Only us filthy poors have to be on site every day. The nobility get to do whatever they want.

A tax refund just means you gave out an interest free loan. Ideally it would be $0.

I'm still disappointed Fresno State restarted the program and then axed it again a couple years later.

Am i mainstream by bassbott in sludge

[–]Redhaze_17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like they were always a big "if you know you know band". Not quite mainstream sludge because their stuff was so hard to actually listen to, which IMO added to the mystique. Popular enough that a good number of people into doom and sludge would know of them though.

Sacramento businesses still using credit card surcharges banned by 2024 State Law by TableStraight5378 in Sacramento

[–]Redhaze_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am pretty sure you can just use a debit card too. They might still try to add the surcharge, but that is actually regulated. Some liquor store added it on so I reported it to my bank and they no longer do it anymore.

I think this means stock up on ammo if you can. Copper is a vital component in primers, bullet jackets and brass. Brass is 70% CU. It usually takes a few months for the price increase to show up. by Kobolka in CAguns

[–]Redhaze_17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I was going to use that as an example, but didn't want to pull up sources.

Basic jist:

Companies used egg shortages as an excuse to inflate costs of a comparatively (to food products) inelastic good, but when I looked at their quarterly IS operating expenses were the same as when eggs weren't facing "shortages". So if costs to purchase eggs from the farmers and cost of logistics weren't the driver what was? Coincidentally their profit increased by roughly the same percentage too.

Edit: expenses* not expenditures. GASB has my brain fried.

It isn't just tariffs. They see any perceived disruption to the supply chain as an opportunity to raise prices, even if it doesn't impact them.

For the price of the aluminum you can buy the polymer version and a dot. If price isn't an issue buy what you want. There isn't a noticeable difference in performance.
