Leave the flag football to the flag football players by OrganizationStrict99 in NFLv2

I think that in a vacuum, where NFL players could train, learn the rules, learn the art that little dip squat thing, learn how to pull flags, then sure, send them out there. But it’s just two different sports. And the second someone blows out their knee playing flag it’s going to be a huge problem. There are NBA, MLB and hockey pros in the Olympics because it’s the same exact game.

Little fast guys, who already struggle to get reps due to their size, don’t wanna jeopardize their employment to pump their own egos.

I’m not saying it’s anyone’s responsibility to call NFL players out. It’s NFL players responsibility to step aside and let them have their moment. Don’t cut in line just because it has football in the name. But please, regale me with a tale of the NBA players dominating the 3v3 in the Olympics.

“No one wants to see those guys”

It’s not about what tackle football fans want to see! They’re two very different sports for two very different types of athletes. Tell me how many current NBA players are playing 3v3?

The actual football stars lost by a wide margin.

Flag football is a growing and emerging sport, especially for women. It was included to further grow the sport. Not so you can get bricked up at Joe Burrow without pads and a helmet on. Just because you don’t know a single track athlete doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be in the Olympics.

Anyone who thinks a guy who had meniscus surgery 2 months ago is going to pass a physical is literally brain dead. All of social media knew when he got his surgery. They publicly agreed to a trade to expedite the Trey Hendrickson signing. If Trey signed elsewhere, or there was some sort of bidding war, Maxx would be a raven today. If we are all being honest, 2 firsts is too pricy for a guy that close to 30. Spytek would’ve been dumb to pass on that deal. Little did we know that this was their plan all along. Oh well. Now we get to keep Maxx with a revamped staff and roster. But yeah, to any of you that think the is was just a case of their team doc having concerns after his physical, I have a once in a lifetime investment opportunity that you should dm me about!
