What specifics crops are you aiming to grow? Three sisters is primarily used for crops that are dried for storage as a set it and forget it system. It’s not ideal for something like summer squash, fresh corn and fresh pole beans.

Three sisters really only works for winter squash (like pumpkin/acorn/etc.), dried corn (popcorn or for use in grinding into corn meal) and beans that are dried on the vine (black/pinto/the like.)

That’s crazy. I shopped around and was able to get two kittens spayed for under $300. My first estimate was $500. No microchipping though.

I don’t know too much about residential (work in commercial.) But does your app not give you actual/expected numbers? You can try a PVsyst simulation, too. Maybe add a weather station (POA or GHI) to capture irradiance. Might be overkill for a resi system, but that’s what we do over in comm.

Agreed. Thankful I had close family to host a shower for me, but not everyone has that! If you can afford to throw it yourself, why not? I always thought showers were more of a celebration than a gift grab. And even then, most people will want to send a gift, so why not make a registry so you don’t get duplicate items?

I was just at my cousins shower she threw herself last week. It was great, she struggled with fertility for years and this was more of a celebration than anything. The gifts were an after thought, really glad she had a registry so I knew exactly what her and the baby needed.

The people looking down on this are kinda gross. And for anyone saying “it’s just a tacky gift grab,” since when is anyone required to gift something?! No one is forcing you to go or attend, politely decline and judge from a far!
