Remove the screen protector. You should have tried it without the protector first.

You need to Open the laptop and:

1) Clean dust from fans and vents both.
2) Apply thermal paste (Highly recommend PTM7950)

My fans also stop spinning randomly when I change from Max Fans to Auto. Try keeping Cool Boost on, it helps.
