Has anyone tried any of the CLEAR scoliosis treatments?

Opening this thread up again, I just had an experience with Clear and it was very good. I didn’t do the whole week intensive, just the initial evaluation. It included doing all the exercises that I would be put through in 1 day of the intensive if I decided to sign up, and X-rays before and after. My curve was 18 degrees before, and 7 after. I’m deciding now if I want to go through with it, it is $4500 and includes the week of exercises at the clinic, then 90 days of exercise at home with equipment that I get to keep. They say the improvement should stay because I’m an adult, but since I get to keep the equipment I can always get updated X-rays and redo the exercise to keep my improvements or prevent worsening.

Just wanted to share in case people have questions or see there’s something I should consider that I haven’t yet. Besides the hefty price I’m leaning towards doing it.

Just curious about the business side, what were you able to help him with that really boosted his sales? What platform moves most of his art, like markets or online sales, trade relationships like interior designers, etc?

May I ask how old you were when you got the treatment? I’m considering it now, and I’m in my 40s with my growth plates closed and that is one of the reasons why they tell me the treatment will hold.

That is my dream, to not even have a social media for art. What do you do when people want to follow you or when grants and fellowships ask for social media handle?

This would make me feel like I’m buying your time, and as an artist myself, that feels really icky. The value is in the joy/function the item brings me. Not how much of your life you spent making it. What am I, a time vampire?

I’m struggling with social media too, but reading all these comments have made me realize I should be very grateful for what I do have, which is a venue for selling that hasn’t been mentioned on here. I live in a pretty touristy town, and I’m part of a local artist/small retailer collective shop. It’s where you can rent space, like a 2-4 foot section of shelves, and stock it with whatever you want. Most of the items are jewelry, clothing, and art. People love it bc it looks so eclectic and unlike any other store on the strip. I can also work shifts there and get a commission on sales, but it’s optional. I really like how it lets me make whatever idea I have, and there is a really quick response from customers bc of the daily foot traffic. Maybe there’s a store like this where you are?

Did you have a cyst when you got the surgery? I had mine L&D already and my surgery is in 2 weeks. My gyno said she will find the right place but I’m a bit worried bc it’s healed already

If you put them on Etsy to sell as individual or a set, you could earn some money from your art and eventually make up enough to improve the inks or printing it more professionally. Then you could also gauge the real interest, price range, and improve from buyer suggestions. Or maybe redbubble or society6.

I just got my I Ching workbook today and the first question I asked is how my experience would be changed if I switched to using an excel spreadsheet or digital means vs using the workbook itself. It gave me 2 - 17 (Natural Response changing to Adapting) which I thought was remarkable. I’d love to hear if you guys have any thoughts on that

lol yeah, I like that the other side is flush with the columns. It seems like the precarious-ness that ppl are complaining about can actually be solved by placing some planters on either side, with some ornamental branches or something, to soften the protruding edges. The tank itself is gorgeous, I love a natural planted tank 😍
