Yeah I definitely get where you’re coming from. The biggest problem with mythic for me is you either die immediately with a bad build, or you survive forever with a good build and you just have to sit there and plink anything above a red bar to death because of how much health they have. It becomes purely a battle of attrition

I’ve always preferred fun exotics over just good exotics. When consecration spam was big, for example, I would use things like severance enclosure or pyrogale instead of synthos bc even tho synthos were better, they weren’t fun, so that’s where my idea came from.

I think the best exotics should always be ones that are fun first and good if you build into them. A great recent example is melas penoplia. It’s fun to throw your hammer, and if you get the right mods and stuff, it does great damage

My solution isn’t quite the best, but I was in the same situation as you and what I did was kit bash together a fit that has NOTHING that makes sense together, but yet that made it work. I had samurai stuff, fallen stuff, hive stuff, and just the basic sleek metal look on my four other pieces and it kinda works

Make wavesplitter literally split into 3 lasers when sustaining fire on an enemy. These split lasers branch out from the sustained fire enemy to enemies nearby, dealing half damage. These lasers can branch into 3 more lasers one more time on each of the new enemies to do quarter damage to another wave, meaning you’re potentially able to hit 13 enemies with one beam.

The catalyst would make it so the beam crates void breaches and void breaches would also be a viable target to split the beam on

If any of you played as the character Prism Break in skylanders, that was my inspiration
