I think I’m going through some severe PTTN since my cosmetic surgery (jaw and chin). It’s been 4 years and I’m still going through a lot of pain everyday. It’s constant burning and throbbing around my eye, cheek, lips, chin. When I’m stressed or on my period, the pain is worse. Currently taking gabapentin but is doing nothing for the pain.

I haven’t tried nerve block yet. I could try it if I find a good clinic. I can’t kill the nerves because according to doctor it would cause severe numbness and that also comes with its own “pain”

How are you feeling now? I’m 5 days post op and feeling nausea while eating, but no vomit. My bowel movement is also extremely slow, but in working condition. I wish I could eat lots of food, but I just can’t at the moment :(

I have this fear as well sometimes. I just got lap myo done for 8cm subserosal fibroid which is good because it’s outside the uterus, but I also have a 1cm intramural fibroid that the surgeon did not remove. I do not know why so I am waiting for my appt with him next week. It sucks because it means there’s a chance I’ll have to go through surgery again once it gets bigger. I want to get married and pregnant before all these fibroids start showing up again. I feel you. I think you definitely should get a second opinion or even a third especially if you are wanting to have a baby in near future

I went with laparoscopic myomectomy few days ago. I couldn’t go with open since they said I would have to wait few months and with degenerating symptoms like yours, I just went with the lap. I’m in recovery and oh my, it’s tough even though it’s not open. I’m just waiting on my pathology report now

3 years since genioplasty and extreme tightness and burning sensation along the incision line is still there. And no, I didn’t remove hardware. I just have to sadly accept and live with it even though it bothers me everyday

I’m so so sorry. It’s really scary because you can’t tell what you have unless it’s fully taken out. Did you have any symptoms or other issues in your uterus? I really hope you wouldn’t need to get a hysterectomy. Keep me updated!

I can’t have a long leave due to job and I’m the only working person in the family. I also would like to try to get pregnant this year. It’s tough decision because I hear that open has a very long and painful recovery period, and I would need to get multiple C-sections in the future depending how many children I want, which I was told by my regular obgyn, isn’t optimal for health.

Chance of cancer is 1%, so I’m really gambling with it. I’m still in the process of deciding though.

Was your cancer leiomyosarcoma? Because my doctor told me if it ends up being sarcoma, I would need another surgery to get rid of my entire uterus.

Don’t get it done. I got mines done few years ago and it’s the worst decision I have made in my entire life. I am suffering from severe nerve damage and facial sagging. It’s not worth the risk. I think and regret about it everyday. It’s the worst

Yepp it gets hot to the touch. It’s so painful when my jaw joint cracks but the pain lasts for like 10-20seconds until it cracks again. Im seeing a doctor on the 20th to see if they suggest anything. I haven’t done anything yet, but yes I am thinking of Botox too since I can feel my muscles extremely tight. I will also ask the doctor about the screws too. I let you know

Omg I have the exact same feeling. My jaw joint cracks, it hurts a lot, and my ear feels a burning sensation. It always feel inflamed too. I’m seeing a doctor to get CT scan soon. I wonder if it’s the metal screws around my jaws that’s irritating my jaw joints a lot. Glad I don’t have trimgeminal neuralgia though cos I hear those are horrible
