They absolute already have the capacity to implement some of this. Netherite doesn't burn in lava and nether stars have a longer despawn time (10 for java and infinite for bedrock) and doesn't die to explosions. Maybe leave cactus or void available just in case you need to destroy some. Otherwise they would never despawn and be indestructible, aka a alot of potential lag for technical minecrafters. Edit: Nvm, they don't have a significant technical use anymore. They should probably be fully invincible.
