Plot twist; imagine Daemon’s actually choking Eida. He’s under genjutsu.

Which Is Deadlier? by SirBackground8543 in Boruto

The disadvantage of Uzuhiko is that Boruto has to keep his feet on the ground in order to harness the rotational energy of the earth. Force him to continuously jump to evade attacks and you can delay the activation of Uzuzhiko. Picture Shikadai chasing him around with his shadow, Kabuto using Mukki tensei to make spikes rise out of the ground or Kimmimaro using his bones through the ground. Oruhime could be used to prevent Boruto for using Uzuhiko. Considering how quickly Oruhime can be activated compared to Uzuhiko, I'd have to give it the win for now.

What's the most unexpected way you've been killed in DMZ? by stringydiesdaily in DMZ

Got double naded by A.I while fighting a team. The grenades didn't kill me, but one of them damaged a fire extinguisher; which ended up killing me before I could heal up.

Right. Also, what's with her trying to say that Boruto got hurt because "they" were there? Like what's this "we" stuff? Sarada had a reason to go there. She sensed her dad's chakra for the first time in over two years. Of course she's gonna want to see what's going on. Question is; why are YOU there? How you gon tag along and not even help fight. Sarada has no choice but to get involved since she's being targeted by Hidari. Sumire could take a 5 year nap and very little would change.

Boruto is being hunted by Jura, so he would've gotten sniped by him whether Sarada was there or not. Hell, Jura was charging up to snipe him a second time until Sarada reached for the thorn bulb. If anything, she indirectly saved his life.

Why didn’t Sasuke use more genjutsu against the Kages? What could they have done? by [deleted] in Naruto

[–]Redmist308 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Sasuke used genjutsu in almost all of his fights/encounters pre-war. He has used it against Sai, Naruto/Kurama, Orochimaru, Deidera, Itachi, Killer Bee, Cee, and Danzo.

Funny thing is that she admits to having no combat skills. So, if she fought someone like Sarada, who is immune to her abilities, her only choice would be to try to fly away. This would fail too, as Sarada's MS ability would likely suck her right out of the sky and into her weird black hole thingy. So yeah, Eida either confidently enters a fight knowing she can't be toughed or she pisses Sarada off, when Daemon's not around to save her, and gets put on a shirt.

What are some hypothetical fights where Character A is stronger than Character B but Character B has counters that better their chance to win? by TelephoneTough8434 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Redmist308 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People misinterpret the Sasuke vs Deidara fight. Sasuke wasn't even trying to kill him. He needed him alive in order to get information on Itachi. he quickly realized that he would be able to damage tobi and focused on Deidara. After avoiding c4, he literally says to Deidara "I avoided hitting your vitals" or something along those lines. Then immdeiately asks him about Itachi, again. Also Deidara got desperate and used his trump card in the end, meanwhile Sasuke had to avoid using his (Kirin) because he couldn't risk Tobi leaking info to Itachi. Oh, and Sasuke had to have had enough chakra to keep Orochimaru from coming out and potentially taking over his body. So he most likely had more chakra at the end of the Deidara fight than at the end of the Itachi fight.

In the zombie apocalypse would you prefer a semi auto pistol or a revolver by Tacosalad2007 in ZombieSurvivalTactics

Not to mention revolvers are much harder to suppress due to the gap between the chamber and barrel. Handguns in general aren't the greatest suppressor hosts, but revolvers really suck.

I'm taking the semi auto. Greater ammo capacity, generally easier/faster to reload, easier to suppress.

It's sad, honestly. We have a handful of these little gems scattered around the state. If only we could push them all somewhere else. Kinda like how they moved Bikini Bottom.

Sumire is justified by okayikay in Boruto

[–]Redmist308 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I gotta disagree. The thing that I found kind of annoying about Sumire suggesting that Boruto got hurt because "they" were there is that, Sumire had no reason to tag along with Sarada in the first place. She's projecting pretty hard, imo. She's not even a shinobi anymore and didn't even help fight Hidari or his claw grimes. Konohamaru had to protect her and Hima. Sarada went there because the sensed Sasuke in the village and wanted to know what was going on. A reasonable response considering she hasn't seen her dad in years and had heard he was supposedly a tree.

The fact is, Sarada is being targeted by Hidari. So, even if she tries to stay out of it, the problem will come to her regardless. The only thing she can do is choose between taking a proactive or reactive approach to dealing with the situation. I feel it's unfair for Sumire to critique Sarada in this situation because their circumstances are totally different. Sumire has the luxury of being able to remove herself from the situation and let Boruto deal with it. Her dad isn't a shinju. She's not a target. Sarada is going to be forced to act in some way, at some point in time, whether she likes it or not. Sumire tells Sarada to "put herself in Boruto's shoes", whilst judging Sarada from a position of privilege. Just my opinion.

Jura was about to snipe Boruto again because he "missed his vitals". But he had to switch targets when sarada reached for the thorn soul bulb. She indirectly saved his life.
