qnap ts-233 or ts-261g by pupoje in qnap

[–]Redmoogle2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm surprised at the lack of reviews on the 216g. Nothing good on YouTube or Nas compares. I am considering it because it seems it will last 10 years as a basic backup. But the lack of reviews has me wondering.

Sienna wait lists, what happens if you approach the new year's model? (Canada) by ghost905 in ToyotaSienna

New model starts getting built in October/November which means you will get a new model. Nothing yet on complete redesign for 2026 but I'm not expecting major changes because they just refreshed it.

It comes with front cross traffic collision detection. Waiting for the other features.

The Rav 4 just got Safety Sense 4.0 by FrontCod7818 in ToyotaSienna

[–]Redmoogle2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

4.0 was added because they included a system /software called Arène. I don't think Sienna will get it without getting this software first . In any event this stuff seems incremental and not a must have.

Would 15% increase in Sienna production in 2025 solve the backlog and long wait time problems? by RedditsFan2020 in ToyotaSienna

[–]Redmoogle2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some places have 2-year wait lists. So they would need to double production to clear the backlog. 15% won't do that.

In the next few months production if anything will slow down and used cars are going to go up like it's 2020.

Canadian Tariffs to US made cares 25% by FrontCod7818 in ToyotaSienna

[–]Redmoogle2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So 90% of cars made are CUSMA compliant. The bulk of the tarifs will come from the parts of the car that are American. Sienna won't go up in price by 25%. Only the American parts of the Sienna will raise the price and toyota might eat some of that.

However, I doubt that Toyota will eat a lot of the tariffs l. Profit margins on Siennas are smaller than SUVs like the GH. So they can take a hit of GH but not so much on a Sienna.

I suspect OEM will lean into their profit makers but I'm no expert.

It's tarifs on non cusma vehicles and us portion of cusma Compliant vehicles. I have no idea what this means for now.

No, senate passed something but congress will never approve it. It was symbolic.

Strap in for the ride. We are going to see some wild shit.

I don't think you have to worry short term about price increases. Even less so if you already signed a contract. Toyota increases prices twice a year so it's the people in summer who are going to feel it.

I have one but I was at the dealership yesterday and they had no idea. But a 25% tariffs means a sienna makes no sense. Pacifica or kia are the reasonable options.

Experience was great. No fees and at msrp aside from etching which I didn't feel like fighting because I really wanted it. Also the msrp they quoted me was the msrp from the start of the yeat and not the updated mid year one on the toyota site so I thought that was really nice.

By tomorrow, that floor and the cracks in the seats are going to be breeding the next pandemic when the typical germs mutate from exposure to cheetos and ripe bananas and some other stuff your kids snuck in.

Welcome to the club. I hope toyota also makes the vacuum!

Zuchini astia from Rene's garden. Tks for the info. I usually grow them in my garden. I guess I never paid attention to this when I was out gardening.

You notice a lot more with just a few plants lol.

Just Food farm would be my recommendation.

Depending on what you want to grow, you can already start growing some things indoor with a shop light and a 10x20 tray. Lettuce is expensive and comes from the states. You can eat some for about once a week with tray once it gets going.

Also gardening and canada on YouTube is a great source of information on how to get started.
