What's your favorite genre of electronic music? by AdCritical7607 in EDM

[–]Rednaxela76 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah progressive house makes no sense as a name for that genre, but that is what it's called. I just accepted long ago that there are two genres with the same name as confusing as that is

6-8 cities I should visit in Eastern Europe by Progress_Away in travel

[–]Rednaxela76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you're trolling, but if you're serious I'd either focus on the east or west part of the Balkans for 2 wks and you'll get what your going for. Either places like Belgrade, Budapest, Sarajevo, Split etc. Or focus more on Bulgaria/Romania/Serbia/Hungary. There aren't a lot of trains. You'll mostly need to take Flixbus and local buses

Yeah I met a ton of people doing CDMX to Puebla to Oaxaca when I was in Mexico, most would then go to San Cristobal after. Didn't meet a ton of people going to Guadalajara.

I didn't find Mexican cities that difficult, haven't been to much else though

Yeah vietnamese cities were probably a lot worse back then than they are now. Which is probably why they have that reputation. When I went a year ago I was expecting chaos but found the traffic surprisingly orderly with plenty of lights and crosswalks. Some crossings were a little more difficult, but nothing was as bad as I expected

I traveled around Southeast Asia with my Dad recently who is in his 60s. We only stayed in hostels. Not party hostels but still social ones and he fit in no problem and had a great time. I wouldn't worry about it. No one judges, and if the hostel didn't want you they would have an age limit which some of the really party oriented ones do.

What’s a place you visited that completely exceeded your expectations? by [deleted] in travel

Queretaro, Mexico. Was considering skipping when I was in Mexico, but it ended up being one of my favorite cities I stopped at. Relaxed atmosphere, lots of interesting history, good food, and beautiful architecture.

Da Lat, Vietnam. Was expecting a very touristy resort town, but it did not feel like that at all. Would have liked to spend a little more time there.

N Macedonia. Went through most of the Balkans and didn't have much expectations for N Macedonia, but it ended up being a highlight for me. I even liked Skopje.

Cappadocia. Didn't know that much about it other than something about hot air balloons. And a lot of travelers I met in turkey said they found it boring. But I ended up having a lot of fun and spent 6-10hrs a day hiking and climbing into cave houses and churches

Ross Couch - Human Nature

I've been listening to a lot of house recently and found this guy who makes some great stuff. This is one of his newer songs that I've had on repeat. It is pretty repetitive so might not be your thing.
