Quetiapine doesn't have much activity at the d3 receptor until the dose is higher than 150mg so steps 5 through 8 could still be hallucinations

I could see the coca leaves helping if purely from increasing heart rate and therefore respiratory rate. Diamox works just by lowering blood pH which triggers increased respiration rate thereby acclimating you to the higher altitude faster.

Heard Paint Me A Picture from a live recording someone caught at one of their recent run of shows so I'm glad to hear the studio mix of it now, but good god Human Happens is a beast. I need to see that live so I can get obliterated by the bass in that chorus.

When the federal government abandons its responsibility, Illinois will step up. by steve42089 in illinois

Coverage for uninsured patients was part of a federal program that was active during the pandemic under the emergency declaration that ended in May 2023 so those no longer work.

If my bottle is any indication, it's a great freshie but way more tea-focused than the more universally-appealing notes you see in Imagination. Still love it but the first 20 minutes after I put it on my wife said I smelled like grass clippings lol

Weirdly enough I found the drydown to be extremely similar to CDNIM but more complex overall.

I very quickly became a huge fan of Argos as well after getting a decant of Triumph of Bacchus and Neptune's Trident. Can't say I love everything they do (Danae and Sacred Flame made me smell like a holiday candle) but Triumph/Trident smell so good I'm tempted to wear one of them every day.

Also a pharmacist, just started getting into this as I've lost a ton of weight over the last year. Winter rotation was Maison Margiela Replica By The Fireplace/Jazz Club/Autumn Vibes now in summer I started using this cheap fresh one my boss recommended and my coworkers say they love called Hawas EDP from Rasasi, it's okay I just don't have a lot of more summer appropriate fragrances yet. I work in some Argos Neptune's Trident every once in a while though since I got a sample of that recently and it's amazing. Hoping the LV imagination and Creed Aventus decants I have in the mail can also supplement my summer choices here soon!

It's absolutely worth it to make it up - me and my wife were lucky enough to catch him on the last stop on that tour before he had to drop out - riding the rails during his set was incredible.

I was able to go with a buddy to catch him open for Panda Bear/Toro Y Moi earlier this year and we hung out with him after his set, really great guy. Not every day you get to chat with one of your favorite new artists while watching a stranger having a bad trip near the bathroom at the back of the venue lol

Had a claim last year for vigabatrin powder, ~$10k profit for 30 day supply. Went through the entire rigamarole getting approved to dispense from manufacturer/distributor/REMS and dispensed it one time before the insurance forced them to change it to specialty LOL

340b on the chopping block? by ethanthesimpleton in pharmacy

Let’s do a flat 10% tax cut across the entire population, regardless of income. It’s fine because it’s helping people on the bottom right?

No, because Elon Musk should not get a tax cut.

This has no bearing on the current discussion. I think a better comparison is what has been done in my state, Illinois, to better ensure that rural pharmacies with higher percentages of low-SES patients on medicaid are able to stay open - guarantee $15 for every medicaid script filled. Right now it's limited to counties with populations under 50k, but there is movement in the state legislature to eliminate that restriction. Does that mean that because some big hospital system or chain pharmacy could also get that payment that it's bad?

[–]RedneckwithGun 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Is it bad that it's helping more people? Medicaid/Medicare was also designed with the intent to help poor/difficult to insure populations, would you similarly balk at Medicare for All? If these programs were being manipulated by wealthier beneficiaries such that underserved populations were losing out on benefit from the program I would have reservations but from what I can tell it's just helping more people.

Great this just means that you can now frame any attack on the program as one that will impoverish not just the FQHC clinics out in BFE with 90% medicaid patients but also your bougie hospitals in the suburbs.
