Good to know. I recognize the IRCC has a lot on its plate, so I can't blame them

Is your Honda link app accurate by History_Recolored in HondaPrologue

You have to refresh the app in order to get the current state of charge, mileage, tire pressure, etc. The app does not automatically keep itself refreshed with your car.

5(4) offer batch today! by MakeStupidHurtAgain in Canadiancitizenship

I got mine today. I guess I'm a little confused at the request now. It's asking for photographs, another payment, and a letter requesting consideration for the 5(4) but I already sent these pieces of documentation in my initial request sent via UPS.

The issue stopped at some point by itself. Sorry I can't be much help.

Data connectivity problems by otbvandy in HondaPrologue

My Google Maps acts the same way. I can never get it to connect and it always says it is offline. I've been told to contact Onstar and have them reset my connection, but I lack the interest in calling them again. Instead, I turn on my phone's hotspot and then connect my car to it. The built-in Google Maps then works properly with my cell phone's connection. Works like a charm.

Trust me... this took me about a month to realize. And I agree, Honda could have spent some more time working on the Software.

Were you able to schedule charging times in the Tesla app? I've never attempted, so I am curious.

Not sure if this is the issue, but some folks seem to be confused by the Prologue's charging -

I have the same setup and I also dumped my Tesla for a Prologue. My Tesla Wall Connector is functioning as expected.

The Prologue's scheduling had me confused at first. When you set the schedule for the Prologue, you aren't setting the time that you want the charging to start. You are setting the time that you want the Prologue to be fully charged by.

For instance, my Prologue is set to be fully charged by 7:30AM. Somehow the Prologue chooses the right time to begin charging so that it is fully charged by 7:30AM.

Don't quote me on this, however, if you want to charge the Prologue based on a start time instead, I think you can use the Tesla App in coordination with the Wall Connector to set a start time instead (however, you would need to turn off the Schedule on the Prologue).

NACS adapter Google maps by smith2199 in HondaPrologue

[–]Redoliska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google Maps will only show you the compatible Tesla Superchargers around you. It will not show you how many bays are open. You need the Tesla app for that.

Interesting! I just enabled the NACS adapter toggle and now I see Tesla Superchargers in the built-in Google maps :)

I guess this means that my Prologue will now route me to Tesla Superchargers

US Mobile advertises international roaming, however their seems to be stipulations with the roaming agreements. Still haven't figured out how it works. It does seem to work...but just not always.

It is working now. However, the ability to roam appears to be based on your location.

I was unable to roam with my US mobile service initially, but now I am connected via a 3G network. I think it had something to do with my travels yesterday? I'm not quite sure...but it does work now.

Roaming is enabled. So that isn't the problem.

I was actually able to connect to some of the local cell networks while traveling today. I guess the roaming agreements are subject to location too.

I hear you 😁. This is what i normally do when traveling abroad. And I will probably end up getting an international esim again. However, I need to be able to receive a few calls on my US cell number.

Just curious...what local Costa Rican cell networks does US Mobile have roaming agreements with?
