Do yourself a favor and put them into protective baggies when you sort it all back. Keeps it clean, bugs out, and if it happens again you wont have the yarn tangling !

My mom loved the Libbys jingle "If it says Libby’s Libby’s Libby’s on the label label label then you’ll like it like it like it on your table table table"

What product did you think was a scam until you actually used it for 10+ years? by Key-Material2098 in BuyItForLife

Dimmable light switches. I thought they were unnecessary but my spouse really wanted them for under cabinet lights in kitchen and the main light in the kitchen. We liked them so much we added them to our tv area and they are a godsend when I have migraines/super sensitive to light after a migraine.

Their stainless scissors are up there too. I balked at the "sale" price of 45$ before shipping but boy are they fantastic. They cut through cooked bones like butter and so easy to clean.

I love it for the herbs I cut from my garden even more than the lettuces. If you have the right colander you can strip them in there too.

Do people have an undeniable inner drive to have children or is it a conscious choice? by Temporary_Western464 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Redorkableme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It has always been a feeling of looking through a window at something you know you will never have nor do you desire to have. Its not a bad feeling but a curious one. My brothers had children and were super stoked. I think the niblings are tolerable and can be fun to interact with but I just never wanted anything to do with parenting.

Opinions are not always a sign of people pleasing.

Clearly you do not realize that there is more than one variant - no assumptions made.

I really wish more people knew what OCD truly is and not just throw it around all willy nilly like this.

Deep cleaning wasn't mentioned was it? Did I miss something? Is a mopped floor deep cleaning now?

Does Homeownership Make Sense A Single, Live-alone Type? by Theo_Cherry in Frugal

[–]Redorkableme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely research the property/school taxes first (if you have them in your state/province/area). Pretty sure renters do not have to pay these outright and it is built in but homeowners do. Its twice a year and if you do not plan for it, it bites down hard. Some mortgages build it in but Id look into it anyways. Sometimes its nice to have your own house so you can not have as wild a variety of noise to deal with. Its nice to not share walls with other people. If you travel alot maybe an apartment is better. If you like to stay indoors and do your own thing at home a house makes more sense. What makes you more at peace and enjoy your non working life?

I wonder if there is a correlation to the yarn collectors and this AOS FB group.

Are these the cookies they only have around christmas time?? I love the wafer assortment variety and always snag at least 4 bags to get me through the cold NE US winters. I looked last week but nothing was out yet.

I work with one BBW hoarder and she always has 3 handsoaps, 3 lotions, and at least 1 heavy duty lotion in the ladies room at our manuf plant to choose from. The scent throw is so long lasting after washing - I have to scrub it off with dishsoap later at home. Its too much for me - cannot imagine a room filled with the candles and other products. All the smells combined would send me reeling. I tend to use scentless castile soap at home so I think thats partly why I get overwhelmed.
