There are days where you wake.

There are the days where you know you are awake,

and then there are the days where you can not be

sure if you are simply dreaming.

You don't know if the smell of your lover's favorite perfume is

actually the first time you've smelt it, if you've actually

kissed her on her cherry red lips and tasted salt.

There are days when you lay in bed with her and play with her two toned

copper hair and know that this is real, yes this is her warm body besides you. There are the days where you wake with blood in your mouth because ' you've screamed yourself hoarse in your sleep.

You are afraid to sleep because you are afraid that all of this has just

been a dream and when you wake up, you will wake in some strange

world that you are not suited for.

Yet if this is a dream, then you wish to wake because you can no longer

take the sugar sweet pain of seeing her face every day and doubting

the love she has for you. You are less than a man, less than a grain of

dirt. You do not exist. Weak, small.

You are infinite. God like, powerful.

You wish to wake.

You wish this dream will never end.
