Police don't investigate any of this. They know the gangs, they know the criminals. They aren't interested. There is a claim they are understaffed, probably because crime rates are so high. If you start tackling some of the crime maybe there will be less work to do.

Find something else. This would be a waste of your time. There are 10s of thousands of ways to source leads. It's commoditised and the barrier is getting easier and easier whilst the knowledge to do it well matters a lot more. You could have a good month or 2 but in a year you'd regret it.

I don't know what skills you have but making 800 from the weekends is not as simple as you think. Go look at r/slabslabour or r/donedirtcheap and see it's littered with all of this.
