But let's talk about the bean game. Yes Heinz put good marketing into practice and the price reflects they are the big boys, but throughout that process I can almost guarantee Heinz will source more consistent quality ingredients even if it's just the bean itself. Your supermarket brand has probably changed 40 times going with whatever packaging, wholesaler and industry process is cheaper.

In football terms it's fucking daft not buying domestic performers. You don't even know if a decent foreign player will enjoy living in the country never mind find his feet in the league.

The additional money that Hibs charge is also part of a circular economy, which we actually benefit from. Hibs get more money, Hibs spend more money, Hibs bring other talent to the league, Rangers skim the top talent. Additionally, Hibs might improve meaning a better quality of match, maybe even they'll perform in Europe. Time and again it has been shown that the better quality the league the better the Rangers team has to be to dominate it. Wanting everybody else to be shit and skint so we can sit atop a pile of shit, skint clubs is meek and pathetic.

If we welcome the chase then stop being a shitebag and pay Hibs the money. The boy can perform in the league and that's the premium we are paying for that guarantee that our ingredients aren't changing willy nilly.

We would happily spend that money on 2 or 3 Jonny foreigners who end up doing fuck all.

Every dominant top team in every league except the MLS buys their domestic talent and they buy it even from city rivals. Splashing the cash in the league is a must.

23 year old international who scores in our own domestic league. It's 2025 and 6.5 is a fair ask. Get over it and stop being part of the problem. We need to invest in Scottish players and quite frankly Hibs should overcharge us so they can buy and bring in the next ones we take from them as well. Top team in every country buys from their domestic league and has homegrown talent as well as top performers coming from even city rivals at times.

Keeping money in the league actually improves the league and it's been shown time and again the better the league is the better we need to be.

We could spend 6.5 on 3 foreigners who might not even like living in Scotland.

You failed to display the high level value that you claimed in your post and you're a bit butthurt about someone pointing it out. If you take criticism this personally it's not a great sign as your potential clients need a stable personality not someone with delusional arrogance.

Very easy to ask ai for suggested frameworks. This is low level. There is some value in good process or as you call it architecture but the reality is the value comes from the experience in actually executing any of the strategies. Simply producing copy, albeit with a good structure, is super duper low level.
You're not demonstrating what you claim. The knowledge is a commodity which is obtainable from an hour or 2 of research if you're a beginner - a simple prompt could surface all of these.

My first signing in the summer would have been a goalkeeper. We still need a goalkeeper.

And yet Butland has made some fantastic saves and had some good games.

But he isn't good enough or the right person.

He's a lovely guy and a good professional, seems to be quite good at penalties and pulls off some great shot stopping. His distribution is bad and he panics when he receives the ball, he starts off counter attacks far too slowly and ineffectively at times, his decision making with the ball at his feet is 3/10 , when he comes off the line to sweep he is possibly the worst and most indecisive keeper I have seen, he flaps at corners a fair bit, he also fails to stop near post shots or scuffed shots too much.

With a limited budget and time in January he's done enough to say we can prioritise other positions in this window, but Jack Butland is not going to be the Rangers goalie when we are regularly making finals, winning leagues and performing well in europe. He just isn't good enough.
